Deities

Star Gods

Catchkeep, the Great Bear, was once a Titan-Beast, when she lived upon the earth. After the Drowning, she fled to the stars, though she still grants her favors to her followers now that she is outside the reach of the Red Moon. Catchkeep has no center of worship and her Clerics are often itinerant, traveling from place to place, administering last rites.

Ajdenia, the One Who Got Away, was once the smallest of the Titan-Beasts. They are the deity of prey and tricksters. When Ajdenia realized the fight against the Red Moon was doomed, they proposed escaping to the stars instead of fighting to the death. Ajdenia’s places of worship are hidden pockets of refuge, easily found if you know what to look for, but hardly ever acknowledged.

The Bonesetter, also known as the Ragpicker, is the two faced deity of scavengers and healers. Once it was two different beings, urNol, healer of the Wyld Hunt, and Azeban, the Titan-Beast of scavengers. Mortally wounded in the Drowning, the two fused into a single entity when they followed Ajdenia into the stars. Though the Houses of Healing are often filled with people seeking healing from the Bonesetter’s priests, it is through the efforts of the Ragpicker’s followers that those places of worship are funded.

Sappochor, the Triple Flame, is the deity of fire in all of its aspects, from the life saving flame that warms the winter nights to the conflagration that devastates all in its path. Sappochor was once the frienemy of Gallas, but the Drowning made for strange bedfellows. The center of worship of the Church of Sappochor in the city-state of Clarines, though most other cities have a house of worship to Old Sparks.

Gallas, the Carrion King, was once the Titan Beast of crows. Before the Drowning, he had a long rivalry with Sappochor, and even after they lit the night sky, their constellations circle each other warily. The worshippers of the Carrion King are scattered across the land, but their service, as always, is given to the Blackbird Bride, ruler of Seafall, Monarch of the Rookish Court.
