GENERAL ETIQUETTE
1. Try to post once per 2 days (if not more) so other people are not being held up by you.
2. If you are going to be away for a little while walk yourself out of the scene so its easy for the GM to play around you.
3. Try not to dictate what others are thinking or doing.
4. Try not to 'think aloud' about other players, it removes their right to reply. Example: 'Secundus thinks Primus is a total jerk, his plan is stupid and will get them all killed.'
4. This is not a PvP game
5. You should always answer any speech directed at your character, even if it's to only post something like 'I ignore Primus.' This is so players are not stuck waiting for a response, missing turns and slowing everything down. This prevents the 'talking to the air' where players address the air rather than be held up.
POSTING IN RPOL
When posting as your character in RPOL please try to follow these guidelines to make it easy for other people to read.
1. When saying something out loud encase the text in quotes and use the Blue text colouring in the style menu at the bottom of the post editing area.
2. When Thinking about something, use the blue colour style again but place the text in italics (no speech marks).
3. If you wish to make an OOC comment in your post, place it at the bottom with clear separation and using the Orange colour style.
Example:

Kargon walks into the bar and approaches Drex quite a small place he thinks to himself. Turning his head he says "grab me one of those beers Drex before they run out"
----
Do I need to roll anything to see more about the place?
If you have just done a long post, feel free to use the OOC text to describe you actions in a more concise rules speech way. This will help everyone be on the same page with what you are doing.
GM INTERVENTION
In certain situations the GM may take control of a character.
1. If you are active in a scene, haven't posted in 3 days and other players are awaiting on an action or reply from you, the GM may contact you out of game and do a light post for you to move the scene along.
2. If you are absent for longer than a week the GM will move you out of the scene and into your own pocket scene.
3. If you are away longer than a month without informing the DM you will be moved out of the story for the time being.
Players can always work their way back into the story if any of these situations happen.
