Tell me about your Influential Acquaintance.

Runa Hildrsdottir. Ulfen undead hunter whose skills are always in demand. She spends most of her time in Ustalav hunting solitary undead. There are plenty of them near the Gravelands but also plenty of guards and adventures there. She concerns herself with the ones that sneak through, arise spontaneously, or are raised within the country.

Runa is a member of or at least routinely contracted by the Esoteric Order of the Pallantine Eye routinely. She found me after a ghoul and saved me. Afterwards she took me on as an apprentice and gave me a direction to start developing my innate magic.

(Can I change my Hunting Lore to Undead Lore?)

So how much knowledge of his magic is in character? He knows how to cast spells and is trained in religion but does he know where it comes from since he has no knowledge of his family?

Sorcerers are a thing so I assume the idea of bloodline magic is available but would he know it's demonic?

It wouldn't be difficult to find out. so I would imagine he does. It "feels" like demonic magic and has the taint of it in the magic he draws on.

Cool. At some point we'll need to talk about alignment [Type] damage and his "deity". None of my spells currently care about that but some later do.

He probably generally follows the Inner Sea pantheon. Particularly Pharasma since she is very popular in Ustalav and Sarenrae since she is a goddess of charity and he has depended on that in the past.

Philosophical he probably reveres Sarenrae more.

Pharasmaian Nun who took an interest in Vostiun when he was a boy. He often ate at the mission she lived in and she tried to help find him work and gave him donated clothes when she could. She still lives at the mission in the countryside around Lepidstadht and writes to him occasionally.

I'd like to add that Vostiun had his encounter with the ghoul and met his mentor in 4719.
