At long last, a random encounter! The dice are funny sometimes. :D

I'm leaving for the U.S. tomorrow morning. I'm taking my son to live with his grandparents, and attend high school there. I'll be back in Korea on the 10th.

I've got my adventure notes on Google Drive, but won't have the rulebook handy for reference. I also probably won't have a lot of time to post on RPOL. We've got a lot to do in a week. And I'll want to relax and enjoy some time on the family farm.

So I will update this game again after I get back to Korea.

Thanks for all the well wishes. We had a good trip. My son has been in my old high school for three days now, and he says it's great. It's a pretty rural area, so he will be the only kid on the HS track team! He also wants to join baseball, basketball, and football. I don't know when he'll have time to keep up with tennis!

I also don't know how he ended up so athletic. I'm not at all talented in that area.

I'm a bit jet lagged, which is unusual for me when I return to Asia from North America, but I'm getting all my online gaming going again. Also preparing for a live D&D session this Sunday. A new player joined last session, and my Call of Cthulhu Keeper asked to join as well. :D Now to catch up on all the grading of assignments...

I haven't had the time for a RL game since I started having kids and always working 40-60 hours a week. That was almost 30 years ago. I tend to be in bed by 1900 to be up by 0200 everyday. Now if I could find one that played online about 0300 in the morning, I might give it a go, but few people have my sleep schedule.

Oh well.

I'm finally all caught up on grading for the make-up classes I gave during my trip, but next week are midterms, so I'm still pretty busy.

Hang on for a little bit longer. I'll get the game rolling again soon.

I once played a sentient patch of algae that I ran like it was a huge communist camp. They would vote other parts of itself to go out, aka putting off, when ever there was confliction and then I would play it as there was a ball of matter brown dead matter that would come falling off his body. We had one PC die and when they buried him my character dropped the ball of matter on to it. He had done the same thing to creatures they had killed so the party didn't think much of it. Well it wasn't until later on, when the game was about to close, that I told them that the ball being dropped off was a ball of algae to take over the dead bodies and create a new colony.
