Team Starmind Debrief
Leaning back in his chair as their overseer took shape above the table, Schism nodded faintly a few times as his teammates started their explanations, idly twisting the string of his hoodie around a fingertip as he put his own thoughts in order. "The infected were present, but only at expected levels. Our primary opposition and the reason for Crossfire's silence came from Kel Klanman. The Sky Pirates were his former mercenaries, modified to the point they no longer had sentient minds based on my readings." He noted, a frown showing through as he mulled over just how grim that little musing really was. "I imagine it's not new information, but with more tempting living targets available, the infected completely ignored the mechanical units."
Brushing his other hand across the edge of the table, the psychic glanced up at the floating projection as his expression hardened. "In entering Klanman tower I was able to sweep the building with my telepathy, and unless there was a shielded space hidden inside, I can say that Kel was not physically present. Wherever his real hideout might be I can't say, but he maintains an impressive store of technological resources." Matthias noted, the often battered often barely-functional devices Thinkmaster currently maintained floating before his mind's eye. "As for Puddle...we lost him inside the tower when Klanman's robots pulled him away. I couldn't sense him during the rest of our time in the building which, alongside Kel's xenophobic sentiments, doesn't leave me with much hope."
