A monument of neogothic architecture, the university library stands like a stronghold on the west side of campus. The courtyard outside is dotted with students reading and discussing their studies. Flanking the heavy wooden doors stand two marble statues. One in the form of a woman, armed with a broad sword and wearing ornate plate armor. The other is a horse sized griffin, rearing aggressively on its hind legs. Inside the floors are tiled with white and black marble and the tall shelves made of dark oak create endless rows. The upper floor balconies can be seen from below, even more shelves occupying them. In the center of the first floor the librarian desk is found. A massive island of dark wood, occupied by for attendants.
