Jack Quick quickly descends the well and slips into the opening in the stone into the cramped mucous-covered chamber.
He sees Sharper and Ocrin are in melee with a zombie covered in glistening filth.
There are seven alcoves in the walls, five are filled by peasant corpses trapped in the horrific screams of their death.
To his horror he recognizes one of the entombed corpses as Bradley.

Scene 2-4 Beyond the Crevice
Sharper and Ocrin are locked in mortal combat with the zombie.
Ocrin is using his pitchfork to try to keep the beast at bay. The monster turns its attention to Sharper and rakes him with its claws. Sharper, cut deeply, somehow remains upright. In his rage, he responds by bashing the zombie in the jaw with his club.
