Chapter 4, Shadow of the Sink Hole

The Pious Lament floats in space, illuminated in purples and reds by the great torus of the Sink Hole whose churning prescience that dominates all of the space behind it. Ahead lies what is thought to be the planet Gelron and the strange object that sits between it and its newly adopted star.

For now, the great battle Cruiser is still, awaiting orders and some solution to the Eldar ship currently clamped to it’s back over a five-meter hole.

I’m relying on you guys to drive the story from here, just let me know what your character wants to do.

Chapter 4, Shadow of the Sink Hole

Gregory orders a fresh company of men to set up a perimeter around the xeno boarding plank tube, covering it from multiple angles with heavy stubbers and other implements of destruction. He rotates out the units that have seen action and prepares more of them for a proper boarding action; he knows it's going to happen and he wants to be ready for it.

Chapter 4, Shadow of the Sink Hole

It was not a matter of minutes to repair the damage done to body and cybernetic systems both internal and external but for now the Navis Primaris was stabilized and had opted to seat herself now at her station. Her breath remained labored and her ribs now added to the cacophony of agony that wore forever at the edges of her mind and will, still her focus held as she watched the stellar landscape stretch out before them. The enormity of the anomaly that was the Sink hole held her attention as she continued to calculate, re-calculate, and further re-factor those calculations in turn as she charted each possible approach and path to best skirt the gravimetric and metaphysical distortions. At least per the somewhat arcane laws that governed such places where the Endless Sea bled into reality proper.

When her mind was not consumed by numbers, she was certain to check on those heads of staff closest to her along side her kin. It was both a matter of propriety and simple common sense to ensure that there was no changes to her understanding of the organization structure.
