The Eye of Sion makes its way through hyperspace. On the bridge, Morgan Elsbeth paces back and forth on the bridge, her hands clasped behind her as she glances across at Baylan, who stands calmly before her, arms folded as he stares out into the multicolored vortex of hyperspace through the transperisteel viewport. Shin stands beside him as always, narrowing her eyes as she glances back at Morgan, and then to the droids which continue to work silently at their stations about them.

"Distance to our destination?" Morgan inquires, pausing to glance at one of her droids.

"We are on schedule to arrive in 23 standard hours," the droid confirms, it's attention still on the holographic charts before it.

Morgan gives an approving nod, before resuming her pacing.

"I still fail to understand why you insisted on bringing along that Mandalorian brat, Lord Baylan," she directs at the muscular ex-Jedi.

Shin may have too much respect for Baylan to ask this same question, but the questioning frown she sends her master suggests that she is wondering the same thing.

"I gave her my word, Lady Morgan," Baylan responds simply, turning to face her with a smile and a shrug. When it becomes clear that this response is not going to be enough to satisfy either of his companions, he continues. "I also sense that she will prove... useful."

"Useful?" Morgan prompts, arching an eyebrow.

"Master, she has no power," Shin adds scornfully. "She is weak."

"That may be the case," Baylan allows, frowning thoughtfully as he glances at Shin. "But there is something about her. I sense she has a role to play in whatever lies ahead of us."

"But to help or hinder our efforts?" Morgan questions, unconvinced as she resumes her pacing.

"We don't need her, master," Shin sneers in agreement once more.

"If she does indeed prove useless, there will be no harm done," Baylan says firmly. "However, should she prove necessary to our endeavors, it would seem a pity for that to go to waste."

"I trust you know what you are doing, Lord Baylan," responds Morgan, sounding very much the opposite.

Down in a holding cell, below, Sabine kneels, eyes closed, her hands folded in front of her. All of a sudden she gives an impatient sigh, opening her eyes as she pulls herself up and begins to pace back and forth in her cell. She seems to bore of this too, before long, moving over to peer through the narrow grate on her cell door into the corridor outside. There is nothing to see, and so after a few moments she walks back over to slump herself on the floor beside the durasteel slab which serves as bed, placing her head in her hands as she sighs once more. She sits like this for some time, before eventually picking herself up and moving over to kneel in the centre of the room once more, taking a deep breath as she closes her eyes and folds her hands in front of her once more.

Sabine kneels like this for some time, before there is the distant sound of a door opening and sealing once more. She does not hear the sound of anyone approaching, but at length she hears a voice from outside her cell.

"I sense much doubt in you," she hears the voice of Baylan, who, upon opening her eyes, Sabine discovers to be standing outside the grate, staring down at her with a bemused expression on his face.

Sabine's mouth twists into an unimpressed sneer.

"I had hoped for more luxurious quarters."

"These walls pale when compared to the prison of your own mind," Baylan replies calmly. "Your frustration. Your desire to be more than you are. The regret that you are not."

"You know nothing about me," Sabine retorts coldly.

Baylan shrugs.

"You believed your master could save you from your regret. From yourself. But she could not. No one can. The Jedi, the Sith, the Republic, the Empire. The war, the destruction, the death. It is hopeless. But there may be a way. A way to truly bring about change."

"Let me guess, all I have to do is join you?" Sabine asks, raising an unimpressed eyebrow.

"Not me," Baylan smiles grimly. "All I ask is that you keep your mind open. The destination to which we travel is no ordinary world."

"I'm here for Ezra," Sabine replies flatly. "If you really could read my mind, you'd know that."
