Wrist seems to be alright now, I'm going to pick up a little bit for a few days and see how it goes.

Re: OOC

Do you guys like seeing the rolls?  There's a couple levels there I could eliminate for speed.

Posting the red lines from the dice roller in chat, or I could just put the results in parens like (hit 4 damage) but would still be in the dice roller if you want to look.

Or I could not use the rpol dice roller and roll with actual dice or in my spreadsheet and just post results.

Re: OOC

I would prefer the dice roller still be used, but you don't have to post the rolls if its faster for you.

While in camp, is there a suitable place for Kerlharter to plant his willow silver coin?

Yes, your band's hood, a mountain, a forest, a swamp, wherever your band set up.

Work and D&D are keeping me pretty busy, I'm going to take a step back from the game here for a bit.  Just assume my characters are hanging around in their hall until I jump back in.

Kerlharter plants the magic coin in his band area.  While recovering from his injuries, he keeps an eye on it.

Re: OOC

Nothing's happened with the seeds yet, consulting with experts on trees, says they can take up to 3 weeks to sprout, and many never do.

Re: OOC

Sorry I haven't been posting a few days.  I haven't been feeling the game lately, and we're down to two or three players, and one is in private threads.

I could post for more players, but I feel like the game needs an overhaul from what I've learned.  One of the big things I learned is I don't think the unlock class method works that well in a party or in the slower non-computer game game, it makes the party/character connections too transient.  I do think it needs something to push deeper exploration like the bosses I was thinking about earlier too, perhaps with equipment unlocks tied to them instead.

The other thing I don't know how to fix I don't seem to have the stamina, fueled by my excitement to try it, for the amount of posts I was doing the first couple months.  It wore me down quite a bit.  With two characters for more people it was effectively like running a whole bunch of games at once.  It was glorious while I was able to keep it up though. :)

So I guess what I'm saying is I'm closing it down.  I may do a new game once I have the inspiration to work on the rules again, but I won't be doing solo parties.   I'll leave this up in the meantime.

Cheers DM, thanks for the game. For what it's worth I thought it worked a treat in solo.

Re: OOC

Aw, that’s too bad.  This is a cool game.  But I understand how it would be hard to maintain the energy level needed to make it work.

Re: OOC

I got slightly inspired, I'm wanting to try the game with the kids and was trying to make my own version, I think I just need to print it out and hand write some house rules on it.  I was looking for the tables and found this sheet I was using to generate the dungeon.  It may be of interest to anyone, though it's pretty bare-bones and may not mean anything to anyone else.  Anyway I'm posting it here:

https://docs.google.com/spread...8js/edit?usp=sharing

I'd need to make those tables more human readable for the game, or play it with a laptop handy as they don't exist in the rules pdf (some exist in the poster, which I bought and have in PDF as well, but not stuff like fishing.)

As usual of late I just started having crazy ideas and trying to mash it together with dark souls (I'm a fan) but keep having more ideas than I can write or even choose between, like making it egyptian themed and in a pyramid, or a wizard's tower, and how all the rules work, etc.  I realize blogofholding wrote much better than me though even if the game needs some tweaking.
