Re: OOC

Yup mostly fun for you. Am thinking of hiring someone to test them on, Or be even more creative use an animate dead scroll and keep a skeleton around the Band just to test stuff on.

It is enjoyable once we find out what they are good for though, you are doing a great job running the game for us.

Need to get about 20k more gold on this guy before I retire. I know what I want my next guy to be.

? for DM, found a shirt in the dungeon, can it be worn under armor or is it in place of armor.

Re: OOC

Just another spit-balling.

I was originally thinking of tying class unlocks to (magic?) items like a book "Wizardry 101" or whatever (which I mentioned.)  I didn't entirely like the idea of having them show up randomly, and I do like having some unlocks by level too, so perhaps leaving the Fence ones.  Or do it the other way where Fence is unlocked by some item in the dungeon and classes by level?

I was also thinking that one thing I didn't care for in the flash game is there was really no reason to go very deep in the dungeon.

So I was thinking of making the items always be at room track 10 each level with the stairs.  So level 1 room track 10 would have something to unlock thief, Level 2 room track 10 would have something for wizards, etc.  I'm also toying with the idea of having a 'boss monster' at the same room, but that might make it too difficult to go down/up levels?  Perhaps an 11th room through a door at Rt 10?

Obviously unlocks already earned would be grandfathered in.

Thoughts?

Re: OOC

Am fine with it, I have 0-4 unlocked already plus Arr is only 20k gold short from his desired level to retire.

A mini Boss could be fun as long profitable too. Am really enjoying the game.

Weiser is already retired, so what the heck... he tries the potion.  Just the tiniest sip, though.

Re: OOC

Something's jabbing you on the inside uncomfortably when you put it on, you don't feel anything from the outside and take it off to get at it better, putting your hand in a sleeve you grab ahold of something and pull, out comes a podium.

After some further experimentation it seems you can stuff some pretty large and heavy items in it without it increasing in weight (It's like a portable hole in shirt form, it will allow you to carry any number of heavy objects and conceal them.)

Edit - besides the podium it also had 10,000 cp, and a libram of improvement.

Re: OOC

Now that is something sweet since I cant normally carry heavy items being a halfling.

What should I call the Shirt. What to list it properly on my sheet and in Band treasure when it is placed back into it.

When I get back, could I arrange to have Flit's corpse and belongings held in reserve in case her player returns?

Re: OOC

New character to replace Vellith made.  Graveyard updated.

Waverlin's and Flit's players bids us adeu.

That leaves 5 players, with the up to 2 characters per player that's still a lot to juggle (effectively 5 parties right now if you count each solo as one,) so not going to put out a new call for players, though I'm leaving the RTJ open.

Re: OOC

This game seems to be pretty hard on my right wrist for some reason*, so I need to slow down, I won't be making as much posts, I'm not sure exactly how much less, but I'm going to be posting less to none in the evenings at least, and I may have to start taking weekends off to let my wrists recover too.  I don't have carpal tunnel, and would like to keep it that way. :(

* I suspect it's at least partially to do with mouse wheel scrolling to the bottom of threads, I haven't been able to find a way to make newest at top which would help, I'll try to get in the habit of using the end key instead and see if that helps.
