Not really anything at this point, it's just another way to get dex bonus to hit and something for Halflings to use that's slightly better than daggers.

Halflings can use them well I saw already, What about if we use missile weapon we get the first attack at range safely before they close with us no avoiding the closing in range unless they are dead of course.

It makes them a little too powerful with already always getting first strike, it was something I considered though.  Most of the rooms/conditions are too short range to have any first strike advantage from them beyond what you already get.  If somehow conditions are better like a well lit very large room or cave I'll mention it (very small possibility.)

I have just over 1k gold in my chest now.  Can I use it to level Heilig up and then retire him?

The urn's not really worth anything, it's just a heavy container, you can discard it.

I'm having trouble with rpol.net again.  It doesn't want refresh, takes a long time and even gave me a couple of 504 errors.  Other sites are working.  That's what it was doing when my posts were getting lost this morning.  I'm going to leave it for a couple hours. Back around 8:15 PST for an hour or so if it's behaving.  It's near dinner time for the family anyway.  I hope this posts.

I want to thank everyone.  This game has surpassed in 10 days the number of posts that my previous longest PbP did in somewhere around 9 months total!  By far my most successful attempt at running anything on PBP! I'll be logging out for the day now.

I changed the party names as A & C are getting confusing.  VW is Vladimir & Weiser, FWBT is Flit, Waverlin, Two and Beldeth. Actually I'll change them back to Party A & C , but append the member initials. So it'll be Party A VW and Party C FWBT.

Straight sneak mods for class, stat level and equipment.  There might be some circumstances I'd give a bonus but it'd be pretty rare.

Is it permitted to have both characters in the same group, even briefly?  Also, until you have a character class, do you gain 1 hp per level?

Briefly.  They meet and fight whatever's in the room, could exchange items, or backtrack together.  Not joining the party other than that.

Once you are level 1 you need to Class.

So level 1 robber will remain robber forever. So you need to Class as soon as you get level 1 According to original game.

You can remain a robber forever gaining levels.  You get +1 AC running away and +1 HP per level (+2 per level if you have high Con.)

What if I get Weiser to level 1, but don't own a clerical scroll (necessary to become a cleric)?  Would that mean he could never become a cleric?

Yes, need to build up to the harder classes. Level some nobody then retire until Cleric unlock. Or get just one guy and level him up until 6 10k gold or so until Cleric unlock. Then level wieser up to 1 become Cleric then as many levels as you want.

Stashing coin in warchest until you need is awesome for that.

DM said no class unlocks unless retiring.  Only 2 were grandfathered me being fighter and someone else thief who died.
