Re: OOC

Two more questions: is purchasing items from another player permitted, and if so, do characters have to be together to conduct transactions?  Or could one player simply agree to sell an item out of his warchest to another?

Re: OOC

We are allowing selling items between Bands, DM will need to set how transfer will take place.

Re: OOC

If it's in the dungeon then between characters.  Between warchests is fine otherwise.

Re: OOC

Does anybody have molitovs to sell (for a markup)?

Do you have to roll to hit with molitovs?

Re: OOC

Question about High CON:

High Constitution gives you +1 maximum HP now and +1 HP every odd level. (You're currently level 0, so you'll get a bonus HP from Constitution when you first hit level 1.)

So does that mean that I have 11 HP at level 0?

Re: OOC

Once you get back to the surface and someone actually tries using it you discover it's cursed - fortunately a wander witch removes it from you, in exchange for the sword.  She'll let you keep the sword, but then you'd be cursed (always have to use it, -1 to hit and damage.)  You're afraid to ask what she wants it for.

Flit recruited a fellow street dweller to explore the dungeon on his own.  Goes by Moze.  She gave him a bludgeon and sent him on his way.

Re: OOC

I'm considering counting a player with a single solo character equal to a party for post priority.  There's a couple here who still only want to solo.  On the one hand that may again discourage parties, on the other I get that it doesn't seem fair.  I'm more interested in what people in parties have to say.

Also I just realized we're over a thousand posts!  Well beyond in fact.  I still can't believe how fast and popular this is compared to every PbP I've run, let alone played in.  Love this!

Re: OOC

I don't know that I would choose to be in a party or solo based on response priority.  Flit, for instance, is very much a party person.  She does not feel safe by herself and even though monsters tend to flock to her when in a party, she still feels like she is better of fin a group with people to help her.  Plus, I like developing her personality a bit, which is easier in a group.

Moze, I think, will remain as a solo.

Congrats on the 1K+ posts though!  I think this is the sort of game that invites large post counts because the DM side does not require a great deal of planning and plot development.

Re: OOC

Charm spell, will it turn a mob into a henchman or just remove from that combat.

If make into henchman still would give half of loot to keep him being one right, Charm would just eliminate the bribe chance of failure then.

Re: OOC

Works on humanoids and humans, turns them into a henchman.  If you have one (or two with high cha) already they just wander off.  There's still a save, but it's a much better chance than a bribe.
