The thing is cut up and beat into bits... which are slowly moving toward each other, it looks like you have some time at least before it reforms.

The scrolls are animate dead, sanctuary and command.

My post from last night seems to be missing.

Vlad stabbed the creature after W was struck sticking him or part of him a wicked blow.

Fine with treasure split, want to see if my attack did much to him. If it did want to try to use poles to destroy as much of this place as we can and have W concentrate the area with his holy symbol.

There's not much you can do unless you had some , the altar is a black stone block, and the circle is metal embedded in the floor.

After some prayers You try to head back, you seem to be lost in a maze though.

You come to another chamber 20' square, exits everywhere.  There's a long thin table (furniture heavy) and a pair of gloves lies on the table.

Suggest we roll for the gloves, winner will not be in next treasure item split unless giving up gloves to another.

2d6 is going to get a lot more ties since 7 is common.  d20 or d100 is better.  Or just have someone roll order like so:

SOP DM needs to mention when we can rest to get spells since I have them. from now on will do loot in the fashion two suggested.Roll intial loot order and it stays the same until return to surface.

Resting is at dead ends, pools and rivers, get 1 spell back, can eat as much food as you want.  You're not at one of those.

The gloves are moldy, when picked up a cloud of spores surrounds Vladimir he chokes on the cloud (3 damage) and throws them away before it gets worse.

You run across a chamber with exits into twisty little passages everywhere, there is also a door, possibly way out of the maze!  The door is iron bound with 3 horizontal bands on each band is an palm sized round indent, there is no handle.  3 zombies mill about, each wearing a large holy symbol, one is an 8 pointed star, the second is a sundial and the third is a triangle.

The one with the sundial shambles away down one of the twisty little passages.

Two and Vladimir splatter the brains of the other two.

Examine the indents on the bands see if they could be from markings on holy symbols.  If so we have two of the three bands covered.

What about hi str any chance to break them.

They're very thick, much more than bars, they're beyond a strength check.

They look to be about the right size for the symbols, but they're round.

Will try the holy symbols on the bands to see if they open/ unlock them.

If they do need to find last zombie.

Which one do you put where first?

Weiser keeps an eye out in case the last zombie comes back.
