Wieser and Ed quite well finish the last (30xp) the pouch one had contained 60 gp.

Ella's blade slid free from one of the goblins.  She turned, ready to exchange banter with Sarge only to see him standing stricken before the last of them, his head tilted at an odd angle.  As he dropped to his knees, then to the ground, Ella lowered her knife.  "It wasn't supposed to end like this..." she said to herself.  "Damn it."

She looked at his body for a moment longer, still holding her knife.  Then her eyes lifted to the rest of the party.  "Gods-damned goblins..." she grumbled.  "Let's make this run worth the price we've paid."

"Amen to that, sister."  Weiser and Ed check/search for exits.

The chamber has a passage out

Do they appear to be standing on anything?  A glass platform, perhaps?

There's nothing there you can make out, but their posture and position indicate they are indeed standing on something rather than floating.

Ella also moves up to slash at them.

One hits Weiser for 1 damage, the other hits Ed for 4.

The humanoids then rise up to near the ceiling out of melee range.

"My kingdom for a sling," Weiser deadpans.

The bugbears don't have any ranged weapons either, and are in better position, they wait with bludgeons ready.

Ella flips her dagger in hand.  "Throw it?  Or should we move on?"

Ella kills the injured one.  Dirk injures the last.  Even the dead and sleeping seem to be supported by something.  They they sink down to the floor and the last one whacks Ed really hard on the head (6 damage, I think that does him in.)
