Cave 7 - A chamber with a door opposite, 3 pools of liquid, one is a deep blue like ocean, one is a brown olive, the last a dark gray. Out of each grows mans sized mushrooms with a number of holes in them, and they seem to be breathing A small coffer of different design sits in front of each pool.

K3 whispers quietly to "Dancer" his new sword. You said you could discern intentions, can you tell me about these pools of water. Waiting for a few before then attacking the one in the blue pool without getting in the water himself.

The attack misses using base information.

Kerlharter waits for the sword to venture an opinion.

The sword sings "Pools of water have no mind, nor can I sense aught from fungi, without any thoughts to bind, reaction to stimulus is all seen by this guy."

The fungi's breathing starting increasing to a moan getting louder and higher pitched.

Ella's eyes wandered over the strange cavern with its pools and its strange mushrooms.  She glanced briefly at her companion soliciting advice from his sword, then began to walk into the cavern, taking a closer look at the coffers without touching them.

K3 strikes the blue pool mushroom doing 6 damage without getting in the pool yet.

K3 stops the mushroom from breathing

Ella finds no evidence of traps upon the coffer, it's made with a fancy wood pattern and a brass knob-handle for opening it.

The remaining two mushrooms have pitched up to sounding of a dozen people screaming at the top of their lungs, 3 wolf-men enter to investigate the noise, one holds a scroll case as a bludgeon.

Kerlharter swings at one of the wolfmen.

K3 swings at another mushroom before letting Dancer free to sing and dance by itself.

Rolled an 11 without any sword bonus to hit and 6 damage

Ella made an attempt to flatten herself to the wall, angling to sneak around to backstab.

(K3, it takes your round to loose the sword to dance, but it will continue attacking enemies for 3 rounds before finishing it's song and returning to its scabbard.  It seems more eager to fight real enemies and is attacking at +1 to hit and damage.) 

Dancer sings "Are we making a chow?  Though I have no taste, mushroom and bow-wow?  With my edge I shall baste."

Though it's song doesn't help cut through it's thick hide.

Ella spends her time positioning but to naught.

And a wolf-man has no trouble evading Kerharter's swing.

Two mushrooms continue screaming

The werewolves tear into the Ella and Kerlharter, howling biting and slicing with claws  (Ella 11 damage, Kerlharter 4)

K3 attacks and kills a wolf man while his sword Dancer strikes a Mushroom for 3 damage

Badly wounded, Ella lashes out wildly with her dagger, trying to stab any wolfman who comes to finish the job.

Bleeding profusely and beginning to realize just how much trouble they’re in, Kerlharter swings at one of the mushrooms this time.

It takes both Kerlharter and Dancer to kill one mushroom, but at least it no longer moves.

K3 and Ella kille one wolf-man each

The remaining mushroom continues screaming.

The last wolf-man attacks Kerlharter and scratches him (2 damage.)

As much as it pains him to let that last hit go unanswered, Kerlharter focuses on the last mushroom instead.

Dancer finishes off the last mushroom while K3 attacked the last wolf man.

Ella made an attempt to kill the last wolfman.

Dancer finished the mushroom and at last it was relatively quiet except for the snarls of the wolf-man, the fight, and the singing of Dancer.

The wolf-man nicks Kerlhearter again, (1 damage)

Dancer quickly kills the last Wolf man before returning to its scabbard.

Any chance we could eat here?  If not, I’m for heading back once we’re through in this room.

It's not a dead end, there's a door out.  There's also 3 coffers, and 3 pools.  You can of course backtrack.

Get the coffers using the pole or fishing poles or combination of them both, without going into the pools.
