Although he's fascinated and delighted by his new fishing pole +1, Moordenar III takes time out to swing at the sea monster.

Flit wasn't able to pierce it's scales, but Moordenar chops it's head off, both halves fall back into the water disappearing forever.

Checking to make sure the stupid sea monster didn't ruin her clothing, Flit seems relieved to find that everything is still alright.  Flit is happy to fish some more.  She gives Vellith the fishing pole she caught as well as two of the food.

When the second monster appeared she scrambled to strike, trying to slice it with her dagger.  Understandably, she didn't want to get too close.
