The minotaur's horns had dealt a grievous wound to the red-haired wizard.  As she tried to stem the flow of blood her attacks were timid and poorly-aimed.

With no one attacking her this time, Flit manages to regroup and strike a savage low on one of the minotaurs.

Today: Flit rolled 18, 5 using d20+1,d4+1.  Dagger vs Minotaur.

Moordenar pierces the Minotaur's heart, it falls.

Flit badly injured another.

The one Flit injured turns to her and bites her. (1 damage)

The other tries to gore Vellith but she avoids it with her speed.

Flit swings wildly after the badly damaged minotaur has the audacity to bite her!

Moordy grunts enthusiastically as he swings for more minotaur.

Desperately, Vellith continued to swing.

It returns the favor and finishes off Vellith.  Flit's gored again by the other (6 damage)

Moordenar III fights to avenge his fallen comrade.

Her glowing knife drew blood, but the swing had left her off-balance.  Too late Vellith recognized the danger.  The minotaur's horn came up and caught her under the chin with a squelch, and the glowing dagger fell from Vellith's suddenly limp hand.

Her last thought was one of regret.  I should have run away.

Flit continues her streak of being unable to hit an opponent after being hit herself.

Today: Flit rolled 9, 4 using d20+1,d4+1.  Dagger vs Minotaur.

Moordenar finishes another, only one now, which also finishes Flit.
