I greet him.

The halfling spins and shoots an arrow at Moordenar piercing him (5 damage.)

Moordenar III charges the halfling and swings desperately.

Bas Relief 9 - An underground town filled with non-hostile humanoids, humans, and demi-humans.  (You can buy anything up to level 3 unlocks, sell things, and rest for 10gp a day.)

I’m short on gold.  May I eat rations here?

Alternatively, may I sell some of my rations here, then use the money to rest?

Bas Relief 8 lost - Passage Turns, Moordenar barely avoids a fire trap, leaving his eyebrows singed.

Bas Relief 7 lost - Dead end chamber with a bugbear and an iron trunk.

Having learned his lesson, Moordenar strikes first.
