Vlad looks to the others, "Good luck all, Khaaven will meet in the guildhall until then stay safe."

He then takes the secret door he found leaving the party to take the one two found.

A small waif of a girl appears through a secret passage wearing familiar burlap clothes.  Given her appearance, they could be her normal clothes to be honest.  She eyes the others suspiciously.

The man in a regulation potato sack blinks at all the red light and the scurrying spiders.

His sole possession is a rock tied tightly at the end of a knotted sack, an improvised weapon.

”Well! Hello there! My name’s Waverlin. Pleasure to meet you!” Do you know the way back to the surface by any chance?”

" Since our group is fairly large, I would be willing to leave it to escort those that want to return to the surface. Then regroup with those that want to return"

Looks to his current party, " The three of you should be fine, you also have Two's new friend. Any problems with me escorting these out."

Flit's eyes narrow.  Escort us out? she thinks to herself.  I just got here.  It can't be that easy, can it?  On the other hand, it is not like she has anything of value, so little enough to lose by following the man.  She looks at the others to see their reactions.

“Much appreciated, Sir!”

He bows respectfully to Khaaven, then pauses as he sees Flit.

”Oh good heavens! A CHILD? They threw a CHILD down here with…large spiders? And who knows what? It’s alright, young lady…we’re both saved! And I swear I will protect you with every ounce of inertia I can muster in my Rocksack!”

He holds up his ridiculous contraption with pride.

Two says "I go, join new delve instead come back.  New bees need help.  I keep whip." He scowls at Khaaven.

Edit he reconsiders his whip after hearing Waverlin. "I loan girl whip? and go with her?"

" Who would like to go with me to the surface and then regroup to explore, otherwise you can go with this other instead." indicating Two.

"Just say Two for him or Khaaven for me, will abide with whatever you decide."

I made a new thread, Party C, for whoever it is ends up going back with the Flit and Waverlin assuming they go together and with either of the offered choices.

Beldeth watched the party slaughter the beetles and gave a very restrained cry of victory.  "...Yes!"

She took a moment to catch her breath, her cheeks flushed with excitement.  She was about to ask the others if it was always so thrilling when the secret passages were discovered and the newcomers found.

"Oh!  Oh my you poor child!  Come here," Beldeth said, moving over to try and wipe the dirt from the girl's face.

(OOC: Beldeth will accompany them to the surface.  Joining Party C)

Two can go with them, W and I will continue on our own NP.

Hadrian II passes though.  He nods at the parties and goes through one of the doors.

Looks like all have left in Party C so K1 will make his way back to the exit solo until he can find a new group or Vlad exits also so one will group up.

Kaaven backtracks to the stairs.

As Waverlin appears through the waterfall, Flit rushes over and throws her arms around him.  "You came for me?  Thank you so much Waverlin."

Disengaging, she continues, "I am not sure exactly where we are.  Other than 'outside,'" she shrugs.

He accepts the hug graciously and pats her on the back.

"There there...now...That Moordenar fellow wanted to go on without you! You think I was going to agree to that? Hmph..."

He looks around.

"Well, when lost in the woods, one finds a body of water...like this waterfall right here...and follows it downstream. Everyone needs a fresh source of water so we're bound to find a farm or a village eventually."

Flit smiles.

She becomes thoughtful, "I guess I never thought of that.  It makes sense.  I have never lived in the countryside.  Seems kinda scary, like there could be bears or something around," she hugs herself.

Beldeth appears in the waterfall.

The cascade of water was interrupted by a woman in ornate, lady-shaped full plate.  Beldeth took a step forward, her plated greaves breaking the water as she looked around, then spotted Flit and Waverlin.  "Are you hurt?  Either of you?" she called.

Flit rushes over, giving Beldeth a hug, plate mail and all.  "Thank you for coming for me.  Yes, we are fine.  Just a little wet.  We were just trying to figure out how to get back to town.  Waverlin suggested following the river.  He is really smart!"

The noblewoman hugged Flit back, then stepped out of the pool, looking up at the sky.  "Are we... outside?  What happened?" she asked.  "In truth I wouldn't mind taking a few days to rest before returning to the dungeon.  I do hope Moordenar is okay down there on his own..."

He chuckles.

”Aside from a damp outfit I’m fine! Is this going to be a party of four or should we start our leisurely hike?”
