Beldeth smiles at the sight of Moordenar.  "I'm glad we are all safe.  I think after a few days of rest I'll be ready to delve once more."

There's nowhere to properly rest here, no town, you can eat food if you have it to recover.  You're in the wilderness.

The party follows the stream.  The stream comes to a small lake. If you have fishing poles you can fish here (or 10' poles with -1 to fishing.)

I do not believe we have fishing pole or 10’ pole.  If there is a river/stream leading back out of the lake we follow that.

(OCC I can run the fishing in a flashback if anyone is able to fish)

A small stream flows from the opposite side of the lake.  It goes down to scrublands.

You see a half-man half-boar stalking about.

"Unless anyone can fish, we should probably continue down river, although we can attack the pigmanthing first," Flit suggests.

Beldeth moved to the front of the group, swinging her club in a wide arc.  "Face me, fiend!" she shouted.

The boar-man turns and squeals ferociously and tosses Beldeth like a ragdoll, piercing her armor with sword-like tusks (3 damage)

Flit's jaw drops as the bear-thingy tosses the metal-clad warrior.  Careful to stay out of range, Flit tosses her second dagger and hits the beast!

Today: Flit rolled 18, 2 using d20,d4.  Throw dagger.

Moordenar II renews the assault.

Waverlin gives the wereboar a tap on the snout with his bludgeon.

"You should cry WEE WEE WEE all the way home if you know what's good for you!"

The tusks found a gap under the breastplate and Beldeth felt them rip into her.  She hit the ground with a clatter of metal and a gasp, but there was no time to wallow in pain.  Terrified at the thought of what those tusks would do to her lightly-armored allies the noblewoman got to her feet and swung her club wildly, one arm held to her gut where blood still flowed.

The beast was tough, though it was bleeding from the knives it was enraged and paid them no heed.  It continued to try to spear and toss Beldeth, but she sidestepped its charge like a matador.

Frowning, and out of daggers, Flit steps up with her bludgeon and drops the thing like 3rd-period French.

Today: Flit rolled 17, 2 using d20,d6.  Bludgeon bear thingy.

EDIT:  Dammmmn!  This thing is either REALLY hard to hit or has a TON of hp.  :O

It falls over dying with Moordenar's blow.  Just when it appears dead it gets up for one last charge at Beldeth spearing and tossing her again! (4 damage)  continuing its charge into the scrub.
