Flit returns Beldeth’s items to her band.  She will then chat with Moze before he heads back into the dungeon.

For all the encounters we had, almost no treasure.  Just the gold and statue we used to heal and get back.

Selara's hall was cramped and lacking in grand trophies.  The lady seated at the desk was dark-haired and suspicious, watching Flit with curious eyes as she entered.  When she set the plate down and told her of Beldeth's fate, her eyebrows climbed.

"And you brought it back here rather than just keep it for yourself?" she said, the surprise written clearly on her face.  "Well then... Flit, was it?  I'm Selara.  If there's anything I can do to help you in the future, don't hesitate to stop by."

"When I was tossed into the dungeon, Beldeth was one of the people who helped me and looked after me.  When I was attacked by multiple foes and knocked to within an inch of my life, it was Beldeth who drew the creatures away from me and took the hits herself.  When I was transported out into the wilderness by a shimmering pool, Beldeth plunged into the pool to come after me.  And when we fought the wereboar, it was Beldeth who went to the front and paid the ultimate price for her bravery.  Her's is a debt I cannot repay.  Any of your band, Selara, are always welcome in any group in which I travel," Flit replies somberly.

Selara thought back to the anger she'd felt as she was thrown down the well with all those jeering faces above waiting to see her meet some awful end.  Her sojourn in the dark had been a fortunate one; a few turns of the tunnel and she'd met Moordenar, then she'd left him to die while chasing someone carrying a huge statue away from the battle.  She'd reached the stairs up and retired to this tiny cramped hall.  The ladies she'd hired had fared much better than she in terms of their wealth, yet two of them had died below, and who knew what had happened to Ronia?

"I was also thrown down the well," she said.  "I found my own way out.  Nobody was ever around to look out for me.  I'm glad Beldeth was a shining example in the dark.  I will ensure her name receives the recognition that it deserves."

"Agreed," Moordenar II puts in, although he obviously isn't as comfortable socializing as he is in the dungeon.  "She saved my bacon."

At that moment the door swung open and Ronia walked in with a light step, dropping a heavy sack of coins on the desk next to the plate mail.  The golden-haired warrior looked over at the group, then at the armor.  "Oh shit, did the lady knight bite it?" she observed.  "Sucks."

She turned back to Selara.  "I didn't find out what happened to your wench but I made a small fortune so I'm going to take a few weeks off.  Maybe we can hire someone to go down."

(( OOC: Ronia's going to retire and I'll be bringing in a new character.  If the party would like, I could have the new character head down with them. ))

As if summoned, Vellith stepped out from the back room.  A slim woman with red hair and traveler's clothes she surveyed those in the entry hall, then looked to Selara.  "Is this a band heading down, or should I squander my time in the tavern?" she asked softly.

Selara smiled.  "Ah, Vellith.  Ronia, if you're not going back into the dungeon why don't you squeeze out of that leather armor and pass it along to our newest recruit?  She's planning to become a powerful wizard," the woman remarked, flashing a smile.

With a sardonic smirk, and an appraising look at Vellith, Ronia walked into the back room.  Vellith watched her go, then returned her attention to the others.  "I should be prepared shortly."

Flit is going to spend 1860gp to get to level 3 Robber.  Since she does not have High Dex, she can't be a Thief, so she will just gain levels for HP and access to better fence equipment.  :)  She will also buy 10 Food and a fishing pole.

She will send Moze off to pickup Plate mail and a Two-handed sword (for later) so that if he can Critical a monster, he will be prepared to be a fighter.

Once done, she should be ready to return to the dungeon.  She welcomes Vellith, as any friend (band-mate) of Beldeth is a friend of hers.

(OOC

Flit FYI you can't train as one of the classes or buy the equipment for higher levels until you retire someone at the levels listed so they can perform those duties.

Vellith Wizards can't wear any armor.)

Once more into the dungeon.

You head down the foreboding steps, and into the dark passage, lit only by the red light of fire beetle glands knowing somewhere ahead riches await in Robber's Dungeon.

Rt 2 - The passage opens into a double cave 20x30 and 60x60' three cave tunnels lead out.

Rt 3 - the tunnel turns back into finished stone with the slight green sheen, a cave firefly lights the way ahead for a minute.

Rt 4 -  A trapdoor with a ladder is in the center of the passageway.  (go down? continue, something else?)

The red-haired wizard walked in silence, the beetle gland glowing in her hand.  Her eyes darted around taking in everything as she watched for danger.  As they came to the trapdoor she gave a curt nod; she agreed with the idea of descending.

"The most valuable treasures are found in the depths," she said softly.  "Also the greatest perils."

Rt 1 - The ladder leads down to the start of a passageway, the walls consist of primitive bas relief.

Rt 2 - The passage continues.

Rt 3 - there's a side passage to the left with a glint of light, the passage continues, dark ahead.

You find a wooden coin, painted gray that might pass for platinum in bad light if one didn't touch it.

Rt 3 - you find another trap door leading down or the passage continues.
