Flit purchased a fishing pole for exactly such an occasion.  Despite knowing this is likely a horrible idea, she sets to fishing anyway.

"My fish, mine!" Flit yells possessively, thwacking the sea monster with her bludgeon.

Today: Flit rolled 14, 6 using d20,d6.  Bludgeon sea monster.

“How does a monster that big fit in a small pond?!?””

He wallops the fish with his bludgeon.

With no hesitation, the red-haired wizard stepped forward and smashed her club into the sea monster.  Evidently she wasn't afraid to get her hands dirty!

Watching the beast's bulk slip back into the pool, Vellith's eyes were gleaming with curiosity.  "That must be a whole underwater network," she suggested.  "A beast that large couldn't live in a puddle."

"Keep fishing.  This is fantastic training."

Yeah we are going to keep fishing.  Fish stix for life!

Bas Relief Rt 6 - door to a cave, a door is opposite.  A large stalagmite at the center of the room had a couple glowing daggers and a couple glowing swords stuck through it, a black substance had leaked from where it was stuck.  11,070 electrum was piled up around it.

As the party approached a number of stalactites dropped from the ceiling.  Two of them hit Moordenar II, just glancing blows. (2 damage total)  The stalactites grew insectile legs from their bases and righted themselves.

The party was unable to pierce the rocklike shell nor hit the nimble legs.  The piercers fenced with their pointy bit.

Moordenar was pierced (5 damage)
Waverlin was pierced (2 damage)
Flit was missed
Vellith pierced (3 damage)

Flit thinks that since the party all missed, the piercers should have missed as well.  Seeing as the piercers are clearly not playing fairly, she thwacks one with her bludgeon.

Vellith continued to swing at the creatures, but the wound had put her on the defensive.
