Flit

Thrown down the well on some up charge real or imagined, you're cold, wet, and hungry, in a large domed chamber with a pool with a ledge and a door to one side and a passage to another.

Level 1 the well lost.

It was bound to happen eventually.  Steal enough and you'll get caught now and again, even if you are not drunk or stupid.  Get caught enough and some day the charm or bribes won't fly or the mark will be too well connected.  Seems the latter caught up with Flit this time.

Cold, wet, and hungry could be her biography if anyone were so inclined to waste the time to write a few lines to encapsulate a life not worth living, so Flit listens for a while.  Any movement, any sounds, anyone hear her arrival, anything to give a hint about what is around or which way to go?

One the murmuring from the surface dies down, she can just barely make out some noises from the door over the dripping of her wet excuse for clothes, though can't make out what they are.  Nothing from the passage.

Flit considers.  She doubts that they are good noises and opening the door will probably give away her approach.  It seems unlikely that the door will open quietly with all the water down here.  So instead she quietly (as she can) pads down the corridor.

She feels slight movement beneath her feat, she rolls to the side just in time to avoid a spray of oil from a tiny hole above, followed by the sound of metal hitting stone which causes a spark igniting it in a person sized fireball where she just walked.

Room track 7 - The passage continued.

11:07, Today: Grand Master, for the NPC Mob, rolled 4,1 using d20,d2.  rock vs. Waverlin.

Flit just sits still for a long moment as the passage quiets after she avoiding the trap that could have killed her.  It is, perhaps, fortunate that she is pretty good at avoiding traps.  Something life on the streets, and in places she did not belong, had taught her.

Eventually, her heartrate drops back to normal and the adrenaline lapses, and she continues warily down the passageway.

Room track 8 - The passage continues for awhile, you feel like you're going in circles though the passage appears to be straight, looking back you don't see any light from the well, but the walls are covered with something that emits a slight green glow allowing you to see a bit.

Rt 7 -  You come to a side passage to the left, it's rather large, 40' across with huge pillars in the middle supporting the ceiling which must be 60' high at their pointed apex.  The passage you're in is 10' wide and unremarkable other than the green glow, which is also emitted in the other passage.

Flit contemplates which way to go.  There is nothing particularly special about the passage she is in.  Is it better or worse to be in a larger, more elaborate passage?  She has no way of knowing.  She decides to make a left into the new passage.

Room track 7 - The passage ends at a wall. (OOC secret doors are likely at dead ends. If you were injured and had food or spells you could recover at one.)

She finds one at the right corner.

Room Track 6 - It leads to a more normal sized passage.

Rt 5 - The passage leads to a 40' river with a medium current.  (OOC Too bad you don't have a fishing pole, you might catch something.)

She will search around to see if there is anything interesting near the river and if there is not she will backtrack to the original passage leading from the Well.

Room Track 4 - She heads back to the secret door, but when she opens it, she comes into a a large trapezoidal room lit bright red from a number of people carrying red light emitting things.  A bunch of dog sized dead beetles lay around the floor, one live one following around around one a man that's back end is glowing red as well.  Another man in plate mail has hand sized spider sitting on his shoulder.  (Join on party B thread.)
