rt 4 - Continuing you come to a trapezoidal room with a bunch of open secret doors in it and a number of people including all your old Party A members.  (see Party B thread.)

Hadrian II steps through the secret door right after Khaaven but doesn't find him in the next room, a 20x10' affair.  A heavy chest is in the center of the room.

Rt 2 - passageway, Ronia is here being menaced by a skeleton with glowing points of light in its eye sockets carrying a club carrying a stool carved in the likeness of a demon holding the seat he's using as a shield (heavy, furniture)

The faint light glow from the walls fades, the stairs continue into darkness.  (OOC You could feel your way down, but would be at a disadvantage without a light source. Backtrack or continue?)

According to the fence, there's nothing I can buy to provide light for myself. Am I at disadvantage just for proceeding and not getting lost? Or for everything?

There's Fire Beetle Glands at level 3.  They seemed to be dropping quite frequently on level one.

I was planning on adding torches under Always but hadn't quite figured out how to do them so they make sense for tracking.  1 gp, used up after changing a level I could start with.  I had made the first one someone found do d3+1 damage, but that's better than a dagger, so was trying to figure that out too.  Just 1 damage +1 fire damage I guess would be o.k. for a first draft.

PS. you can retcon buying them before you left.

Torches for 1 GP and doing 1+1 damage sounds pretty balanced to me.

I'll retroactively buy three torches, and light one before proceeding.

The stairs go down and down and down.  They land at a natural cave tunnel, it's damp with stalactites and stalagmites It goes on past what your light illuminates.
