Waverlin blinks at Two’s broken speech, but doesn’t dare look a gift horse in the mouth.  He looks even more quizzically when he hands the little girl a whip. He follows behind the man and the girl, hoping to keep the child safer between them.

”I do sincerely appreciate your altruism, Mister…?”

He then notices Beldeth has joined their crew.

”And a pleasure to meet you too, Madam!”

Most people thought of street people as dangerous and untrustworthy.  Flit had never found that to be the case.  Sure, there was the occasional ne'erdowell but for the most part people on the street looked after each other.  She simply had no idea how things would be in this place but so far kindness and generosity seemed universal.

"Thank you, I am Flit," the girl replies in a small but pleasant voice.  She does have a certain charm about her.

Beldeth listened with interest, and no small amount of horror.  She wore faded finery - a nice blue dress that had seen better days.  It's owner showed signs of faded pedigree as well; fingers that were chafing at sudden hard work and dark circles under her eyes.

"I Dogmeat Two of Hill People, friends call Two." Two says.

Two was a large man, he looks like someone beat him with the ugly stick but that just made the stick uglier.  He has a sad but kind looking face, very calm and vacant most of the time.  His intellect was that of someone dropped on their head regularly as a child.

He says now that he's out of earshot "No trust Khaaven, keep hand on purse when around."

There was no disguising the fact that Beldeth was eager to return to the dungeon.  Her brief sojourn had merely been a taste.

There was a sense of shock as Flit dropped to the ground, twitching.  A keen pang of pity for the girl and the tragic end to her adventure.  And yet there was a certain thrill too, at facing mortal peril.  Beldeth felt alive in a way she never had while doing needlepoint on Sundays.

She tried to swat her own earworm with her club.

Shall we roll to see who gets the first pick (and second, and third) of the treasure?  I suggest that someone gets the bracers, someone else the magic sword, and that the the armor and coinage is divided between the other rollers.  (Assuming the bracers and magic sword get picked first.)

Her ears were still ringing from having to club her own head, but it seemed like the thing in her ear had stopped moving.  Beldeth made a face as she reached up with delicate fingers and pulled the creature out to examine it.  "Oh my, how utterly revolting," she remarked.  She couldn't quite keep the excited flush from her cheeks.

As she let the thing fall she looked down to Flit, who seemed to still be breathing.  "Oh!  Goodness, if those are healing elixirs we will surely need them.  Let's take a closer look at some of this... at this..."  Beldeth trailed off as her eyes truly, for the first time, took in the treasure.  There was a glint in her eye.

"Maybe... we should... use the potions and then see about dividing this up?"

(OOC Not using that PDF rule, using the rule from the flash game.  In the dungeon:  At a dead end, pool or river you can eat food 1 hp each.  Any time you can drink a healing potion or get healed by cure wounds spell, though it takes a turn in combat.  On the surface 10gp and 1 day for each HP.  (game time passes quickly, just say "I rest 10 days" and pay 100gp for 10 hp. If you have a cleric, druid, or paladin you heal for free on the surface.)

Oops, somehow I edited your post instead of quoting, back button didn't get it back.

Glancing around, she noticed that Flit had, once again, taken the worst of it.  With a yell, she moved to interpose herself, banging her gauntleted fist against her breastplate to try to draw the attention of the centipedes.  "Fight me, you vermin!  I think you'll find, if you manage to crack the shell, that I'm tastier than this urchin!" she shouted.

Beldeth attracts a couple centipedes perhaps a bit too effectively.

(OOC came up with something on the spot for Beldeth trying to attract the centipedes sacrificing her attack, may be too good and may change in the future.)

06:39, Today: Grand Master, on behalf of Beldeth, rolled 6 using 4d2 with rolls of 1,2,1,2.  distract on 1 each.

C1 vs. Beldeth hits for 6
C2 vs. Moordenar II misses
C3 vs. Beldeth misses
C4 vs. Moordenar II hits for 3

06:38, Today: Grand Master, for the NPC centipedes, rolled 16,53,14 using 4d4,4d20,4d6 with rolls of 4,4,4,4,18,7,14,14,6,3,2,3.  vs. FWBM. +1 on d20s

(OOC Moordenar would've taken 11 without the distraction)

As the centipedes came at her Beldeth tensed, trying to use her bludgeon to keep them at bay while trusting her armor to stop any that got through.  She hissed in pain as one of them found a weak spot and sank its mandibles into her, drawing far more blood than she was happy to lose.

Having drawn their attention she tried to hold it, wielding her club against the attackers.

11:20, Today: Beldeth rolled 4 using 1d20 ((4)).

Moordenar & Beldeth each find a secret door.

Mines/Caves Rt 4 lost - with nowhere to go but out they continue.  The door opens into a cave about 50'x70' a tunnel exits opposite, there's 64 gp scattered about the floor.

Mines/Caves RT 3 lost - The tunnel goes to a larger cave about 150x200' There are 4 pools of various colored liquids: A pink one, A lilac one, a red one, and a gray one.

The pink pool has a suit of leather armor on a ledge just over it, the pool looks shallow enough to wade through to get it.

The lilac one has a statue in it (heavy, worth 104 gp)

The red and grey one's don't have anything near them.

A tunnel opposite leads out.
