Rt 4 - passage continues awhile

Rt 5 - a chamber with three more passages leading out.  Loose on the floor there's 3149 ep, a pair of bracers, a glowing sword, 2 potions marked with red crosses, and a suit of pristine plate mail.

As you enter a number of ear seekers drop from the ceiling on you

2 vs. Flit one misses, 1 crawls in her ear and bites 6
1 vs. Beldeth which crawls in her ear and bites for 2
1 vs Waverlin crawls in his ear and bites for 6

Flit, disgusted and badly wounded as she is, lets out a little squeak and stabs at the thing in her ear with a dagger (assuming that is possible otherwise she stabs the one in Waverly's ear if possible, and if not the one that missed her).

Flit rolled 7, 2 using d20,d4.  Dagger vs Ear seeker.

Waverlin hastily pulls his dagger from he belt and attempts to stab the ear seeker in his ear as well.

Beldeth flails ineffectively at the thing while gasping in horror.

Moordenar II lashes out at an ear seeker, all the while struggling to suppress his glee.  Look at all this treasure!

Waverlin manages to skewer the seeker in his ear and flick it's remains away.
Moordenaar II kills the one that landed on the coins.

The one in Flit's ear bites her again (4 damage)  Her eyes roll up in her head with blood leaking out of them, she falls to the floor and twitches for a bit before settling, the seeker crawls out seeking another victim.

15:47, Today: Grand Master, for the NPC ear seekers, rolled 20,5 using 2d20,2d6 ((16,4,1,4)). -removed random targets as they're in ears.

Moordenar II tries to smash the thing before it can eat any more brains.

He tries playing whack-a-mole with the ear seeker but only slams his bludgeon into the cave floor.

There was a sense of shock as Flit dropped to the ground, twitching.  A keen pang of pity for the girl and the tragic end to her adventure.  And yet there was a certain thrill too, at facing mortal peril.  Beldeth felt alive in a way she never had while doing needlepoint on Sundays.

She tried to swat her own earworm with her club.

Shall we roll to see who gets the first pick (and second, and third) of the treasure?  I suggest that someone gets the bracers, someone else the magic sword, and that the the armor and coinage is divided between the other rollers.  (Assuming the bracers and magic sword get picked first.)

Beldeth had to hit her head but killed it and shook her head to get it out.

The one that killed Flit went for Moordenar II, but he moved from it's jump.

Seeing that one is still alive, Moordenar II attempts to smash it.

Moordenar II smashes it as it flies at him!

It seems Flit was only mostly dead (having not updated her HP on the biography for high Con) groans and sits up slowly.

Good.  Now, what do you all say to my suggestion about rolling for who gets first pick of the treasure?  Highest roller would be first pick, second highest second, etc.

He kneels down to scoop Flit up in his arms.

”Are those healing potions? I know some of us could use them right now…”

Her ears were still ringing from having to club her own head, but it seemed like the thing in her ear had stopped moving.  Beldeth made a face as she reached up with delicate fingers and pulled the creature out to examine it.  "Oh my, how utterly revolting," she remarked.  She couldn't quite keep the excited flush from her cheeks.

As she let the thing fall she looked down to Flit, who seemed to still be breathing.  "Oh!  Goodness, if those are healing elixirs we will surely need them.  Let's take a closer look at some of this... at this..."  Beldeth trailed off as her eyes truly, for the first time, took in the treasure.  There was a glint in her eye.

"Maybe... we should... use the potions and then see about dividing this up?"

From one of the side tunnels a trim athletic woman walked in with her golden hair in a braid and a smirk on her lips.  She eyed the group with a sort of amused disdain, looked at the treasure, then let her smile fade a little as she saw Flit.  "Hope the young one's alright," she said.  "Looks like you folk found yerselves a nice haul.  Hey, yer one of Selara's, aren't ya?" she said, eyeing Beldeth.

The faded noblewoman narrowed her eyes at Ronia with suspicion.  "What of it, miss?" she asked sharply.  "This is our treasure and we aren't interested in sharing it out."

The woman held her hands up with that same smirk returning to her lips.  "Don't worry yer pretty head about me.  I'll move along.  See you back at the hall, I hope."  She waved, then turned to head back the way she'd come.

Flit lets out a soft whimper, putting her hand to her badly damaged ear. "That was disgusting," is all she can manage.  She manages a partial smile for Waverlin, "thanks for looking after me."

He carries the urchin over to Beldeth.

"We're assuming those are healing potions.  But we could be wrong."
