Rt 2 - Side passage with glint, just a nail driven into the floor.

Rt 3 - Side passage with glint, the eyes of a footlong spider waiting for some pray to pass sitting on the post of a large bed in the middle of the passage.

Hadrian II gives a battle cry as he charges the would-be ambusher.

"Eat steel!"

R3 - Side passage to the left with a glint of light down it, it's just a trick of light.

R4 - Door, An oval room 2000 square feet with 3 doors out, a fire beetle is nudging a pottery jar filled with platinum and gold coins.

Hadrian III gives a familiar battlecry as he charges the beetle.

"Eat steel!"

11:55, Today: Hadrian III rolled 9 using 1d20+1.  To Hit.

Hadrian almost got it!  The beetle returns the favor, by also missing.

12:00, Today: Grand Master, for the NPC Beetle, rolled 7,3 using d20,d6 ((7,3)).

Hadrian III raises his sword high before forcefully bringing it down on the beetle.

12:29, Today: Hadrian III rolled 21 using 1d20+1.  To Hit.
Critical hit for 9 damage

The beetle was quite truly sliced apart.  You find the jar has 109 pp & 259 gp.

Hadrian III gathers the coins, wipes the ichor off his blade, and continues on.

Rt 4 - A door leads to a 10x10' room in which stairs go down, one other door exits opposite (explore or down?)

Sounds good.

Steeling himself, Hadrian III heads down the stairs.

With his dwarven dungeon knowledge, he realizes the stairs are too long to go just one level down, it seems about right for two.  (In case he doesn't want to go to level 3.)

Hadrian III follows the stairs all the way down.
