Wungarr, your wild charge throws Two-Head's aim off.  Antero, the next sword stroke goes wild and passes over your head.

That wild sword stroke also causes the other orc to stumble, as he has to take a step back to dodge the swing himself.

It ends up with you getting a breather from the both of them.

Two-Head is turning towards Wungarr.  Other Orc seems focused on you Antero

Other Orc seems shocked that you'd pick on him Antero.  He's so shocked that he can only step sideways as you swing your axe, so both of you miss each other.

Wungarr, Two Head gets kind of fuzzy.  Then he goes back to One Head.  He snarls and charges at you...

Go ahead and post your action Wungarr.  Then you can post a second action for your next round.  He will be missing you with his attack.

Antero, you can go as well.

Thanks

Now-One-Head manages to trade a mighty blow with you Wungarr 17 pts dam pre armor, but he caves under the weight of your whallop and staggers backwards.  You managed a knockdown Wungarr

Other One is still up.  One Head is still conscious though just

In reply to Cap'n Will Kill U (msg # 501):

Despite that powerful hit, the troll more or less shrugs it off like it was a minor blow. However, it did hurt enough to make him angry. As a result he hacks down on the now one headed orc, trying to end this once and for all.

OOC:
09:47, Today: Wungarr rolled 7 , with a step number of 5 on the Earthdawn (3rd ed) system.  initiative . – 7

09:47, Today: Wungarr rolled 11 , with a step number of 15 on the Earthdawn (3rd ed) system.  Damage. – 11

Is there any advantage rolling this high to hit?

There's some one more shocked than you Antero.  Other Orc falls over in shock.  And from the beat down you've given him.

Other Orc is down.

Wungarr, you'd get the extra success levels.  Is that what you're asking about?

One Head crumples as well.  He seems to have succumbed to the might of troll muscles.

The two of you have a moment to catch your breath.

Antero pauses and concentrates as his skin takes a woody hue.  Looking to Wungarr, "Captain's Quarters?"

15:29, Today: Antero rolled 12 , with a step number of 9 on the Earthdawn (3rd ed) system.  wood skin. – roll=1714246145.00295.372876

Anybody know how to get rid of this roll=1714246145.00295.372876 so it doesn't show up in the dice roller?  I've looked in setting etc and don't know why it's there or what it's for after they changed the site.

I'm not aware of a way Antero.  Is there a reason to remove it?  Not sure I follow about what the concern is.

The two of you catch your breath and tend to your wounds/defenses.  The captain's quarters would be up the stairs Wungarr charged down.

Up top, the room is fairly spartan.  A cot against one wall.  A large table spread with maps, pages, and letters.  There's a small chest set against one wall and a cabinet built into the wall that seems to hold some glass bottles.

The brackets [] will interrupt a pm if you just copy and paste rolls within them.  When you do a lot of rolls (like for Ars Magica) and don't want to bother most of the players with a long list of die roller results it's a pain in the butt to manually deleted all the brackets.

Edit- wth....did for me before....okay nvm

Antero looks around and then down the dock to make sure no one is running away from the ship (or towards it) before going down below.  He searches the unconscious slaves for key rings (and other valuables) before going below to unlock the slaves, "Any of you recognize any of these louts as the captain?"

Wungarr proceeds to gather the unconscious foes, strip them of weapons and gear, and then lock them into the slaves cells. He offers the weapons to the former slaves, and if they decide to start stabbing guards he has no interest in stopping them.

The slaves all point at Robes.  He's the captain.

The guards have a few coins on them.  Robes has a small signet ring carved with an ebony inlay.  Might be worth something in a market.

All three have key rings on them.  The guards have keys for the cages, as does Robes.

Robes has two extra keys on his ring.  What they are for...

Who knows?

After the initial looting, Antero makes sure the freed slaves get something to eat and drink before helping them get moving.  He gags and secures the Captain before going up to the Captain's quarters and checking if the keys fit any chest or the like (searching the room).

23:00, Today: Antero rolled 2 , with a step number of 6 on the Earthdawn (3rd ed) system.  perception. – 2

Thankfully for the captain, they were at least feeding and watering their slaves.  He sputters awake, or at least sputters as well as he can with a gag in his mouth.  He glares at you Wungarr.  But that's all he can do with a gag in his mouth.

Ungagging him?  Or just getting some payback?

One of the keys opens the chest.  Inside are several changes of clothing, a couple of them rather nice outfits.  There's a small hand held painting of an orc woman holding a bird.  Under it is a bottle of wine.

You can't find a keyhole for the other key in here Antero.

Let me know if you are taking anything Antero

Antero dumps the normal workaday clothes out of the chest, checks the back of the painting (pulling backing up) to see if anything is hidden or written there (and leaving it behind if nothing of interest) and shuts the chest.  He looks under the captains bunk and if he has a desk pulls out any drawers, checking their contents on his bunk and making sure nothing is hidden behind them (or under a table).

Working as fast as he can he lifts the captains chest and carries it below decks to throw the other loot in it before looking around in the hold or ship stores for anything that has a lock on it.

Antero, you very throughly check all the usual places.  Nothing.

You arrive, lugging the chest, in time to see Wungarr threatening Robes. That is who I am assuming you are threatening Wungarr.  If not, please let me know

The orc narrows his eyes, but nods.  He spits out some blood onto the floor when the gag is removed and then glares at you both.

"Well?  You haven't killed me.  So you want something."

Antero let's Wungarr handle most of the questioning of Thonkar, only adding, "We were sent to send a message and given a lot of leeway on how messy things get.  We've already delivered the message and just haven't determined how messy things get yet.  My question is where is the lock for this key?"

The warrior shows him the other key, "Don't take too long figuring it out or things are liable to get messy."

Antero looks to the unconscious slaver guards and bully boys.  He recalled the Masters had a particular punishment for slaves that gave them a little trouble but they only needed their backs for labor.  Rotating the scythan axe in his hands he methodically and dispassionately smashes the off hand of Thonkar's guards with the hammer side of the axe, careful not to kill them but enough to break the small bones.  He supposed it wouldn't be so permanently crippling to non-slaves who could get pay for magical treatment but perhaps in time they would feel the aches from the wound in their hands if they lived long enough.

Once his labor is done he returns his attention to Wungarr and Thonkar.
