Thanks for your patience.  We are getting closer. Just need to work out a couple more NPCs and finish figuring out our first storyline.

For the three of you already admitted to the game (T'veyn, J'Rass, and Azud), you have already fulfilled your RTJ requirements.  So while I do ask you glance over the RTJ thread, you do not need to submit an RTJ or worry if you've sent me a character sheet.

If you have not, go ahead and work up your PC.  I will review the PCs I've gotten tomorrow (sorry haven't gotten to it yet.  Work's been nuts)

I will be PMing you individually about your backgrounds.  But to give you a heads up:  we are starting in Trosk near the Mist Swamps.  So we will need to figure out how you got there.  Shouldn't be too difficult. But if you want to start brainstorming, go ahead.

Because the holidays are so close, we will probably have a slow start.  Hang in there.  I hope you will enjoy what I've got planend.

I already know how Azud-del (only my poor, sainted mother calls me Azud! ;) got there! On the back of an ass (well, goat, but ass sounds more biblical ;) (Seriously though, with my background he Azud-del can wind up pretty much anywhere in Barsaive and it would make sense.)

Should we look at any collaborative backstory? Ie knowing each other before the story starts?

Not a bad idea, T'veyn, though I suspect it would be a stretch for anyone to know Azud-del. He's been... out of the loop for years now.

If you guys want to know each other before hand, that is fine by me.  I'm PMing everyone tonight.  Once we get the personal backstories down, we can intergrate.

I know from Azud's backstory, he arrived in Trosk probably a few months ago.  He's not a local.  As far as J'Rass, I would guess he also is a transplant to Trosk. T'veyn, I'd leave it to you if you are a local who grew up in Trosk or are a transplant as well.

If you guys like, we can do a short intro story.  That would give us a chance to everyone to reacquaint themselves with 4ed mechanics.  We can either do a "how they met" story.  Or just something a little lighter that may lead into the campaign.  Let me know your thoughts.

On a side note: my plans for the holidays have changed.  I will be offline Monday the 19th.  From then to the 28th I will be a little catch-as-catch-can on posting.  Last minute business trip sprung up.

Also, since it is the holiday time and this is RPoL, I do expect we will have some slow posting time over the next week.  Completely understand.  Please enjoy time with family and friends as needed.

I had my first vomiting bug for years this Christmas. Got to cook family dinner while feeling nauseated throughout. Can’t complain though, life ain’t bad!

Tomorrow, I will post a lead in story thread.  Did you guys want to know each other before the game starts?  Or you want to meet for the first time when we start things going?
