Suzie, Luke and Eric: Need a general look of the rooms you'll be staying in. Start with a basic table, chair, nightstand and bed. Going to assume you don't have TVs or whatnot but you may. Nothing too shabby. No computers.

Dion: So I will say you probably have a flat. Nothing spectacular. Bed, bathroom, kitchen ect. If you can come up with a basic idea let me know or I can make one. And will assume its near the Community Center.

No cars for the group (for now). Everything you really need is in the community center.

Sorry I haven't been more active but my area has recently been deluged with wind and rain so we've been having too frequent power outages.

I was under the impression that we have been denied Internet access. Storm, can you verify? I get that there is no computer, but are we allowed access to the Internet on our phones?

There is a computer but it has a password and it is locked up for the clerks. You aren't really denied it but its frowned upon. Trying to find out something on the cell phone can be tough but depends on what you want to find out. It would be very hard to denied internet from say the library but trying to get anything inside the communtiy center-nope.

So I'm confused. Do our smart phones have Internet access or not?

Yes. Some of the stuff people will want to look up will be blocked courtesy of the clerk and police. You can call people or text, look at youtube, ect. It depends on what you guys and gals want to look up.

Got it, so we should not assume we can look up any information as we have access controls on what information we can and cannot access.

Oh no! Why? Okay, none of my business. Alright well I guess she won't be joining the conversation in the kitchen.

Doesn't mean if you leave the center and go elsewhere you might have access. Don't know, you will just have to leave to find out :) You can say upload a video and post it on youtube, send emails out, get texts, call people, ect. Some of it is just blocked. It works like a computer using the internet. There's also a public phone too. You aren't cut off from the entire world. No one has tried to see if they have wi-fi yet either.

Hopefully we will get more people involved and Dion when he isn't busy will get involved too!. I will shoot out a post tommorow.

Well you can ask the mods to upload it. And there's a ton of pictures to look through.

Are you talking about the profile picture or the the pictures embedded in the posts or Cast Description pages. For the profile picture you have to go into character details and then change profile picture. I use the keyword search. If find one there you like, you can then look at the tags and find more pictures online if the celebrity is named. That's what I put in the posts

Pretty sure in Misfits they have them scrape it off because it was more work. And if you paint over something that has graffiti on it without scrapping it, it doesn't look right for the most part. Most of the time you want a smooth surface before painting it. And also if you paint over it, the graphiti will keep doing it. So its rather pointless so might as well have the 'convicts' do it.

The player isn't offended, the character is. Although Erica actually is a short-cutting teen who is responsibility challenged. She's a convict for a reason. But she'd deny any of that.

Think about it in another way:

Marko has to watch juveniles that broke the law who constantly give him a hard time. So yes he will work people as hard as he wants. Some of which should be in jail instead. He's doing his job though can be hard on people. Also don't know about his private life either. I'm not trying to defend him, I play him as a jerk lol.

Plus maybe he gets on LUke's case because he's a adult. And the fact Luke gives him a hard time too :)

Erica, oh I get it. Being a 18-19 year old kid against Tony can be bad and hard.

Okay folks. Keep in mind your by a stairwell leading down to the second floor just like the show. All open. Not sure if it was clear so everyone would have to run up the stairs to get to Tony and Dan. Easy enough to fudge :)

Tony isn't just a regular guy. He's big, burly and built.

So dropping your coat down over a obvious stairwell in hopes Tony will attack it and ignore the 3 people on him? :)

Also Tony has attempted to punch people. Feel free to have him hiss (or get hit). He's like a bull in a china shop. I always give people to change to move, duck, get hit, ect. Its different if say someone is pinned down.

You have portrayed him as acting irrational  leading me to believe that Tony is enraged and not thinking clearly. Your posts imply that Tony is acting like The Hulk and not like a rational, sane human.  Lukes actions are so that Erica can catch him off guard. If Erica had to take on Tony directly you would be right, but if he ignored her she could find an opportunity to do something to him. Perhaps not push him unless the melee left Tony in a vulnerable position.

Remember, in chaotic situations people can be left vulnerable.

You believe he is irrational and is angry (which he is) but since no one has seen him like this, its all assuming. Could be right, could be wrong. If it was Tony and Erica going at it, she's be a bloody paste. Unless she had a weapon. Also, there's things can be used as wepons as well like a fire extinguisher. Probably have say a bat in one of the rooms. Its not a prison, everyone has free time too. Right now, Tony is winning. But no one is fighting smart. Course no one has martial arts either :)

That is wonderful news.

Keep in mind he just died and there weren't any reporters around so Tony's 'death' probably won't be on the news immediatly if at all. Deaths aren't shown on it unless your like a big public figure and important like a celebrity in my opinion. Plus the cops aren't sure what happened other then dealing with 3 deaths. Or 2. Maybe 3 (grins)

I am thinking more of what might have happened to the police woman that Erica is seeing.  If that happened someplace public enough, it would hit the news quicker.

Not if it just happened. Or happened in a private place.Also no one knows what happened to the police lady yet. Not likely to report all deaths on the news either even if it is a cop. People will want to know what happened as well so they will need to get the facts straight.

In some ways, Erica is a 'dead detective' lol.

Well he has Murphy's brain, possibly his lungs and spinal cord. Doesn't state it. Just watches Robocop 1-3 lol.

Personally I think Murphy is 'alive' in a sense but mainly Robocop if that makes sense. Murphy was declared 'dead' but not sure if your a cyborg if alive.

Murphy was only declared dead so that they could do anything they wanted, without seeking consent.  But I image his personality would go through a change with the change of body, which changes his sensations and perception of the world and himself. Our emotional state is influenced/tied to our bodies. With Alex having a new body, his emotions would change which would change his personality over time.

2. Touch the transmitter on your leg.
3. Touch yourself. Most that could happen is you freeze yourself. Really.
4. From what you can tell you freeze objects. Might not effect people right? Right? You know you want to give Dan a hug :)

Dan seems to break things and seems 'tough'
Jen freezes stuff.
Erica sees dead people that no one else can see.

Jen has touched a plant which is organic life and she froze it.  Touching a person might lead to freezing them and that could kill them.  That is a last resort type of test. :)

If Jen touches the transmitter and freezes it, possibly destorying and then the cops come calling.  ;)

Decided to stop running this game. It has been a interesting time but with Erica now bailing because it was going 'too slow' which it was my fault (at times) and the PCs not posting it just doesn't seem viable to continue moving forwards. I had some interesting ideas coming but with the lack of 2 players, just doesn't seem possible. Everyone has been great. I could put the game on hold. Most people who joined didn't get back to me or idled out. Or I could redo the game entirely.

Shame, I enjoyed it and liked exploring Dan's slow realisation that something had changed. Great setting for a game, if you ever revive it let me know.

I had a character once named Grenade. He could basically make anything explode, even himself (though didn't discover it before I got kicked out....grumbles.) Good thing is he had some pratical uses like in some ways he was Cannonball to a degree. If he touches someone and holds on they were ummune to his powers. Like a shield. Bad news is he coundn't control the power and used gloves to be on the safe side. Pretty cool character.

Could do several things:
1. Restart the game.
2. Change it over to X-Men, restart the game. Probably have different background. Don't have to be a Mutant.
3. Keep the game going and I can figure out how to write out Erica (Maybe she was nuts, gets sent elsewhere, parents pick her up, ect.)

I think at this point, restart is the best option.  2 people are not enough for a RP unless the plot was designed specifically for them.

Heck any game on here unless its solo doesn't work. Two people can RP pretty well so not sure where you got that idea from. Its easier having a group of course.

Oh two people can work, just the RP has to be designed around them.  At least that is my feeling. :)
