Greetings to all new players!

We are glad to have you here with us! Please, complete the following checklist to get yourself settled in properly. I also recommend right clicking each link and selecting "Open link in new tab" to ensure you keep this list handy.*

1. Read the Omega Colony Disclaimer, Rules, and Discipline pages and the Game Play page. Don't  worry! They are light reading!
   
   
2. Review the game's Canon Library pages at your convenience. There is plenty of reading there but important knowledge is summarized in the Timeline. :D For your convenience.
   
   
3. Goto the Introductions Thread and introduce yourself!
   
   
4. Fill out the Character Sheet for your desired character. You can use these helpful wiki pages for ideas:
   
   • Skills
   • Weapons
   • Spells
   
   
5. Paste your finished character sheet into your RPoL Character page. It can be found 1 of 2 ways:
   
   • For RPoL Classic
     
     A. Go to the left side of the top panel next to your character name and click the Character Details link.
     B. Click the "Create Character Sheet" link located under the horizontal line below your character Information card.
     C. After you have submitted your changes, the "Create Character Sheet" link will change to an "Edit Character Sheet" link and will be visible both above and below your new Character Sheet.
   • For RPoL Interactive
     
     A. Click "Character Details" link on the "This game" panel to the right.
     B. Click the "Create Character Sheet" link located under the horizontal line below your character Information card.
     C. After you have submitted your changes, the "Create Character Sheet" link will change to an "Edit Character Sheet" link and will be visible both above and below your new Character Sheet.
   
   
6. Send a private message to the GM Producer requesting a Character Approval.
   
   
7. After approval, the GM will give you a starting location. You will be able to navigate there by clicking the appropriate link in the Canva Game Map, or by selecting that location's thread in the Game Menu here in RPOL.

Note: Be mindful not to make multiple posts in two different physical Locations. Please refer to the Omega Colony Posting Practices wiki page for more information.
