"Oh jeez! Are you okay?" Diana asked, heading over to the boy.

"I'm all right," he said.  "You just hit me in the chest.  No biggie.  Didn't think you could hit that well while you were charmed."

"That is a pretty scary power. Does it work on everyone?" Diana asked.

"I don't usually try it on a lot of people," said Dave.  "It's not really fair.  But I figured, in a fight..."

"It is effective. It took a lot to hit you," Diana said.

"Yeah, but I'd better learn to actually fight as a backup," said Dave in his usual charming manner.  Such a nice boy!

Diana shook her head.

"I'm sure you'll get a chance."

"...So will you teach us how to block those punches?" Dave asked.  "That seems kind of important..."

"Sure, there's several different ways," Diana said, demonstrating.

The students watched for a bit.

"Um, will you be sparring with the rest of us?" Marume asked.  Her superstrength made that something to think carefully about...

"If you want," Diana said.

"I kind of want to?" said Marume.  "But I'm afraid that I might hurt you.  Or break the gym."

"I am in a suit of alien metal," Diana said. "It'll be fine."

"Um, okay," said Marume.  She raised her hands into a guard position and awkwardly advanced on the teacher...

"Come on, take a swing," Diana said.

She swung clumsily, but with great force...

"How are you in the toughness department?" Diana asked.

"...I think I'm tough, but I've never really tested it?" said Marume.

"Okay, we'll test that out," Diana said, throwing a bunch.

Marume yiped in surprise-- but her body absorbed the blow easily.  She blinked in surprise at that, and took a tentative further swing at the teacher...

...which missed by a huge margin.  But the wind whistling as the punch went by suggested that if she connected, it would hurt.

Diana backed off a bit.

"Wow, you are strong," she said.

"...Yeah," said Marume, shyly.  "I really have to be careful with it, too."

"It's impressive though. Once you learn how to fight you'll be quite the powerhouse," Diana said.

"But it's going to take me a lot of practice," she sighed.  "I keep tripping and stuff, too.  It's not good."

"Don't worry, you'll get it eventually. It'll take some hard work though," Diana said.
