I have like 1725 gold left but no idea what to spend it on. Thoughts?

If you like to use one of your domain spells a second time per day a Pearl of power 1st level cost 1,000 gp.

The other question is if you don't mind is what armor are you using?

1st level wands are always good. If you’re evil, then infernal healing is 500 hit points worth of healing for 750gp. Hunt down potions that have powerful spells like invigorate which lets you ignore fatigue for 10 minutes. Pick up special material or masterwork weapons. Alchemical silver and cold iron are both cheap. Grab a cloak of resistance +1. Carry smelling salts in case you need to get one of the healers back up. You might be able to afford armor made with special materials. I’m not sure on account of being a monk. Definitely pick up masterwork armor so it can be enchanted eventually. Purchase masterwork tools for specific uses of a skill.

DESCRIPTION

This extremely light chain shirt (AC +4) is made of very fine mithral links. The armor has an arcane spell failure chance of 10%, a maximum Dexterity bonus of +6, and no armor check penalty. It is considered light armor.

OK - it is not as good as your AC +6 but if you get Dex up high enough it better.
However the real gain is no armor penalty and no drop in speed as it light armor.

I think it classed as master crafted so you can add magic adjustments to it.

Just a thought.

Yes, I'll allow that at character creation.  Any wands you craft later will need to obey the normal rules.

You're not intended to make any particular decision at this point.  The characters know their objective; the next steps are up to them.

There are no gods to steer their course... except themselves.

Is the party going to be walking or hustling, and is the base speed 20 ft or are you doing anything to mitigate that?

I presume we can move a bit and find shelter when it rains. New bodies. No knowing how fit they are. Do we even have calluses on our feet?

As many as you'd expect for the mortal form you took. You aren't newborns: you have wrinkles, freckles, calluses, and even scars if you think appropriate.
Just as you have skills and proficiencies, you know how to hike or march or travel just as the adventurer whose form you have would.

I don't think the characters are doing anything to mitigate it. I'd also suggest that they were walking. They do not seem to be in such a rush that someone needs to carry Skeeves, although, they may want to consider acquiring a donkey or mule for him to ride in the future. For future reference though, how much does Skeeves and his gear weigh? In case the party needs to run away from something very quickly.

Although, I think that going so slowly might start to bother Elera at some point. (It won't, she can find stuff to do during the extra time)

The dirt and occasional gravel that passes for a road is broad enough to accommodate two people without squeezing.  Let me know the traveling order and the group can head west.

Specifically, anything that usually requires moving at half speed, like foraging or tracking, is possible if your own move speed is at least 40 and the party is moving at 20.
This applies to more than just Elera, so feel free to consider doing something if it applies to you.

How do people feel about this proposed marching order?


It puts the melee people up front. Ludovic’s bombs are short range and Elera is fast enough to go in the second rank. Finally the last two casters are in the back.

The will is strong but my throwing arm isnt.

Seems good to me.

Shadowdale is an archer but I can use a longsword and with mage armor my AC not bad so that works for me.

it also keep snowy and Skeeve friends appwart as well.  Which may be a good idea.

Would you be comfortable having Shadowdale cast a mage armor for Elera? The wand ended up being one of the things she had to cut for costs. If you aren’t, then that’s okay as well. I’m sure there’ll be a chance for her to get potions of it at some point.

Workable for now; Skeeve may be more second rank, but we can tweak it later if it turns out to be the case
