Introductions are good here as well. The Session 0 thread will go up as soon as the cast list is full, but I wanted everyone to know the party will likely be bigger than I anticipated. I was informed by a number of players that redundancy without too much direct overlap in concept will help the longevity of the game. I forgot about how often ghosting occurs on PbP games, so I'm going to aim for two finger wigglers (digital), two more finger wigglers (astral), two murder hobos (samurai) and at least one dedicated face.

Obviously, I could fill in the missing spots with temporary hires (npcs) but I'd rather direct the action than steer the ship entirely. Nobody likes a GM npc stealing the glory.

For the record it's looking like we should end up with:

Two riggers. Would have preferred a more traditional Decker in one of these spots but both Riggers are such wildly different concepts that the overlap is minimal as one is essentially chucky and the other is a goddamn pirate.

Two casters. One is a Dionysian Mage (with a side of chemistry) and the other a Dryad Mystic Adept.

Two samurai. One is a rockergirl with a literal axe as their weapon-of-choice and the other is...a cybered up catgirl.

The face is going to be the most vanilla concept we've got, but having a face that's a streamer who works with the Panopticans (and more directly the KG) will really round this whole thing out.

So far this is the type of Pink Mohawk shenanigans I was looking for.

For what it's worth I am very far on the Decker side of Rigger. My Deck costs 10x what my RCC does. I also only have 3 drones as it stands.

@Darina, having redundancy within the group with being likeable isn't a bad thing. Can split where we do stuff, or just support one another.

Hoi Chummers! I’ll be your Rockstar Razorgirl slaying the opposition with my power chords. Will have a large pool of contacts within the city who are “fans” of hers. Will have an Instrument of Death: Combat Axe made from an electric guitar with built-in mega speakers that plug into her headset/mic combo. Cybered up with cyberlimbs to go to toe with with a burly troll.

@Paradox- I can see Banshee and Paradox definitely have teamed up in the past and hired him to promote her music and make music videos. I can assist with Face stuff to boost a teamwork negotiation or con roll.

Is everyone building their characters in isolation, or are folks wanting to discuss aspects of creation?

Overlapping skills?
What they plan to bring to the group?
Gaps they have that they hope someone else can fill?

My character creation questions will be as follows:

1) my character will be social, but I know there is a dedicated Face. Should I put 5 ranks in negotiation or less?
2) Will the group have transportation that can switch back between land and sea?
3) How much firepower will we have?
4) Do any of us plan on being stealthy at all or is it kick the down in full pink Mohawk?
5) What sort of Contacts will everyone have so I don’t duplicate?

3) I can throw knives. But melee would be my primary fighting style.

2) I have personal flying transportation but I can drive most things.
3) Uzi for the everyday, Ak-97 and a Sniper rifles for special occasions.
4) I'm either really good at Stealth or nearly incapable of it. I'm not actually sure. I also don't have a form grasp on what sound... Is.
5) I forgot this part of my sheet. Probably a mechanic or arms dealer or something.

I'm happy to share - Darina's contacts are a Talismonger and a biker gang boss, and I've got one to figure out still.  Her skills are largely social and magical but no enchanting.

1 - I'm playing a Dryad, and the Face is pretty open - do what you like.
2 - Darina neither drives nor desires to
3 - Ew!  Fire!  Darin isn't going to do much with firearms.  She'll be more prone to wiggling fingers or sending the giant tree spirits in.
4 - Darina's got a little stealth, mostly fors neaking in and out fre haing the spirits do weal with the the ork - and what's not to love about those giant plant monsetrs showing up inside the restaurant and going on a rampage?
5 - See above.

1) Silenus is not going to be much of a social character
2) Not personally, not 100% yet on whether he'll have any vehicle
3) Got us covered for chemical weapons + maybe some explosives + some light firearms. Magic will be mostly utilitarian/battlefield control oriented.

4) He can be somewhat stealthy or causing total chaos
5) Still working on this bit. I think a club/bar promoter and a talismonger/alchemy hookup

As mentioned, I'm only guaranteed to be around on Mondays. I might pop in infrequently between then to answer questions and such. I'm free for a little while after work tonight but just popped in because I realized I had never actually posted the Session 0 thread when I intended to last week.

I will be addressing questions here, in PMs and in the Private Space threads during the time I have tonight and anything I can't get to I'll resolve on Monday.

Teach & Bucky: Well, shit. I assumed Teach was more Rigger than Decker but that's on me. Either way, wheelmen are a dime a dozen and you can always work them into your contracts. Plus it seems a few of you might have a contact or two you could lean on from time-to-time.

What are the connection ratings of the influential people of LA thread? Was thinking about having some of them as contacts.
