I'm using the D20 Call of Cthulhu rules for the modern setting. Here's an excellent tool for building your character sheet quickly:

Use the Manual Entry option for putting in your stats, which you will roll here (at rpol.net using the dice roller for this game). Six stats, roll 4d6 and drop the lowest dice for each (set the dice roller to record individual rolls, if you would). Assign the values you roll to the stats as you wish.

Also roll 2 + 1d4 for you current level (3 - 6).

Got my stats, and my level, and pretty decent rolls. Up to AC Bonus for Investigators, yes or no? Not sure what to put but I seem to need it to advance.

Want to move on with the process, going to put yes for now. Fingers crossed it doesn't mess anything up.

I don't know why it didn't drop the lowest, but I will take the scores and drop the lowest from each.
