Re: Crèche of the Four Winds - Roost of the Thunderbird

It squawks, "Find him,  if you have to get the help of his countrymen to do so, do it. I am getting my people to safety. When you find him, let him know my extreme displeasure." The voice is a ravenlike approximation of the Queen's voice.

In reply to Shadow of the One True GM (msg # 583):

With a practiced smile, Liya stood with Bastion and the other guests on the rooftop and watched the storms., all the while scanning the area for anyone or anything suspicious. Soon though even her attention was fully drawn to amazing display.

Tanique nodded with a frown, and looked at her mother.
"Shall we go room by room, or something else?"

"Yes and we are sticking together. I have half a mind to actually drag one of those Chaos Lords to actually come with us since this is their mess. Though I don't trust them enough. Not after what happened. We need a sorcerer someone with mystic vision or senses." She holds up her hand, "Give me a moment."

She whispers to the air seemingly and her owl ghost glimmers into view a moment before flying off.

"Alright, room by room search."

Liya watches the reactions of the other guests, smiling warmly at their excitement. “Next to walking the Hydra’s Path, this is probably the most amazing thing I’ve ever experienced.”

"I know, this is one of those things that makes you glad to be part of the larger megaverse. You get to see and experience things most other people can't even dream of. It is a blessing, something we should never forget or take for granted."

"You might not want to stab everything, the Queen has a fondness for some mementos. Hopefully Ghost will be back with a sorcerer for us to help in our efforts shortly."

Ellika helps in applying pressure though not stabbing everything.

Unto the fourth room of careful observation and testing for Tanique and her mother and a soft hoot came into the room. Ghost Ellika's own stood by the door and behind it was one of the castles sorcerers. The man was dressed up in military uniform.

"Ladies, how might I be of service ?"

Ellika explains the situation and he nods, "Ahh, I see. Could you take me to the original room where this, distasteful act occured."

Stormcastle top.

The displays continue with individuals floating or flying down with their families to the ground for their carriages or all together flying off towards their home or other parts.
Among those that have not done their displays yet there is plenty of talking and speculation about the nights events. It seems gossip will only grow about things.

The Queen seems insulated behind a ring of guards and servants whom are more observant of the crowd and anyone paying attention to the Queen then the displays.

Some of the rarest atmospheric displays one could imagine were to be seen this evening and were amazing.

Ellika looks like she is thinking on it.

"Continue your search if you need call some guard to help you."

"If I come to you alone, quiz me."

She then led the sorcerer to the room with the bodies.

"My apologies, it is Bastion. I am not physically there, I am up on top of the castle. This is a magical means of communication and sending it must have confused you with your mother. Your man is climbing up the outside of the castle like a bug. I am fairly concerned since your Queen and still a few guests are up here. I have been searching for him since Queen Morrigan informed me of the situation."

"What side?  What's nearby?"

"I can, yes...."
Summoning up the storm within her, Tanique dove out the window.  She willed the storm to lift her up, and carry her around the castle, where she started scanning the walls.  If possible, she'll use the wind to scour the walls, especially near the top, much like a firehose will clean off a sidewalk

"I was just asking. I really should have kept looking for your mom, you are still injured. Alright go from your angle left look up under that statuary of an eagle in flight about five feet below it. You see him. He is kind of blending like a chameleon."

Re: Crèche of the Four Winds - Roost of the Thunderbird

In the various flashes of lightning you do make out a lump on the side of the castle wall below the spread winged eagle that was mentioned. It is hard to make out though perhaps that bit of work with Ashton has made you more alert for such things. You see it move upward slowly in the next flash of light.

As you blast it with wind you see a weird wavering outline block most of the wind the slippery sigil of the Logrus protected him from the majority of the blast. Though he did become more obvious for he looked around to make out where the directed blast came from. He begins to scramble upward towards the more stable outcropping of the eagle.

Re: Crèche of the Four Winds - Roost of the Thunderbird

This works better initially as he blows backwards into his logrus sigil and claws at the walls for purchase. He shoots out a tendril pointed towards you in retaliation causing even your incredible armored dress to get a tear and pushing you back by the force of it.

Still it worked and he skitters down the wall some thirty feet before he catches himself on a window opening.
