One of her personal servants brings up the breakfast.

"Hello Ma'm. Lovely morning it is." She starts setting the table and asks her if she will be having tea or juice this morning.

In reply to Shadow of the One True GM (msg # 88):

Tanique requested juice.   She was trying to plan out her day.

She pours some juice from a decanter.

"Will there be anything else Ma'm ?" She waited on her ladies orders.

In reply to Shadow of the One True GM (msg # 90):

"That will be all.  Thank you"

Tanique enjoys her meal

She quickly leaves for you to enjoy your meal.

The breakfast is prepared to her tastes again perfectly. Soon the meal is finished.

Tanique goes out to see her steed, and to ride for a while, to get her blood properly flowing.

Back to the stables she notes Morgenstern is not there this morning.

She takes Thunderstrike out for a ride. There is a crisp wind out this morning coming from the East. She rides along through the hilly countryside and sees no indications of the Chaos deligation yet. Otherwise it is a nice day with an almost cloudless sky.

Tanique does run across her parents also out riding while on her morning ride.
Ellika removes her helm and waves to her daughter.

Tanique waved back, but didn't approach her mother unless the other woman waved for her to come closer.  If she didn't, Tanique would ride to the outer reaches of the kingdom to patrol for a bit, mostly for exercise.

There was no indication Ellika or Julian were calling her over simply acknowledging her.
Unless she road to them, they road off together on their steads.

Tanique road along to the mountains having taken to the air as the land became less and less kind to normal horses. The high mountains holding clouds back which seem to cling to their mighty peaks. She can see her mothers border guards patrolling from time to time as she rides on the fringes of the Creche.

In the spirit of adventure, Tanique rode out further, exploring the fringes of the kingdom, exploring the clouds of the nearby shadows

The first thing she sees readily is the Black Road up the side of one of the mighty mountains. The steeds of the carriages she makes out have shifted to climb the mountain though it doesn't look like an easy going. The carriages seem sealed up almost like beautiful if baroque shells.

There are four places in the circle of mountains that the winds come in that are lower but they can be more treacherous in their own right.

Beyond that lay the clouds of a dozen or so worlds blessed with good weather by various Storm Lords or through wizards or priests knowledgeable in weather magics. Vast fields growing various food stuffs as well as beautiful vistas formed by water or wind lay within the nearby shadows. There are a few that have been allowed to remain wild by decree of Morrigan and enforced by her on at least three occasions that you know of. Those places have lush vegetation and wildlife and many avians find home there if the winds of various storms have brought them to the Crech or surrounding lands beyond their control.

Tanique will watch the seashell for a moment or two, to see how they handle the mountains

It seems slow going but they are making it and the steeds are in a form to take the cold and handle the high angles. Even the carriages seem to be handling it. It just looks like at this rate it might be two days before they are over and perhaps the same on the leeward side.

You set a course and start to ride knowing how fast Thunderstrike can ride you call up a zephyr and travel towards your objective though setting a different way, a different direction then you took to get here.

You remember the old axiom all roads lead to Amber as you head out. The way to Amber open to you and perhaps the warning your father gave playing on your mind about an uncle you have never met. The ground below you swirls with the wind you create as you carry yourself and Thunderstrike along. Green fields, strong cobblestone roads leading to hard packed earth. Skies flickering as you move from world to world with the different colors of some artist. Trees changing as well as you continue along your objective towards Amber. The tops of trees varying from puffy green or yellow leaved wonders to evergreens forests with their peaked tops.

Two dragons swirl into view as she travels, and their wings beat the air as she feels the temperature rise. Two people can be seen on saddles strapped on the backs of those dragons. Thunderstrike looks up at you.

Tanique will give the dragon riders a friendly wave

The dragonriders don't seem inclined for personable interactions and she can see them moving to flank her. It is at this point that she sees the colors of one of the riders are that of her uncle Benedict.

The dragons are turning into a position where they might well use their breath should they have such a thing.

Thunderstrike used to battle prepares and readies for your command. Moving on to another shadow is also a possibility but they may be able to follow the wake.

In reply to Shadow of the One True GM (msg # 104):

She moved closer, ready to talk to them, thinking that evasive action might be suspicious

"Land." one calls out through some kind of horn which carries his voice.

The two dragons flank her and though one lands if she does the other stays airbound.

The dragon trundles over. The man riding him says, "Ahhh you are Lady Tanique, are you not ?"
He studies her. "You're not supposed to be here. May I ask why you're heading towards Amber?"

In reply to Shadow of the One True GM (msg # 106):

Tanique landed, and looked at the man in confusion
"Not supposed to be here?  Why is that?  What's happening?"

He gives her a long hard look, "I cannot disclose details, suffice to say your not supposed to be here now. Hold your position. I am under orders of General Benedict of Amber."

"I don't wish to make a mistake either way so let us, play by the general's rules shall we."
He seems to be writing something and holds up a small orb which glitters a moment then flies off quickly towards Amber.

"What brings you this way, Lady Tanique ?" He finally adds.

In reply to Shadow of the One True GM (msg # 108):

Tanique shrugged
"Just getting some fresh air and exercise, really.  I hadn't realized that I was wandering into any kind of restricted airspace."

He looks at her squinting a bit and his jawline tightens.

"Your claiming you don't know about the battles taking place and Dalt's presence ?"

In reply to Shadow of the One True GM (msg # 110):

Tanique shrugged.
"I'd heard rumors of some sort of kerfuffle, but not anything specific.  And I hadn't realized it had reached this far away.  My apologies if I'm interrupting a battle, sir."
She seemed sincere

"You came in from shadow. We need to check this out there are reasons we are detaining you. If it is you, all will become clear."

While it takes half a day and the soldier is respectful, he is also insistent on her remaining where she is. Does she remain for that half day meal and drink are provided and it can be seen more than the two dragon riders are present here.
