Tanique swooped down at him, using the wind to slam into his body feet first

That works amazingly well even as his Logrus absorbs the majority of the strike it was such a sudden thing with your weight and proper placement of your feet behind it and vast winds pulled from the displays from above that the Logrus shudders and gives and you push him down further dislodging him from the wall entirely.

He begins to plumet.

You feel some pain as small wounds from his logrus shielding him with points and spikes were able to pierce even your armor. Though at the moment you only have flesh wounds.

She tried to lift herself back up, then to grab him again,  hopefully to slam him hard into the groumd

He is currently in free fall though he is quickling gaining flaps of skin to slow his fall.

Lord Voldrus points at you and releases a torrent of shards.

There is a momentary wall of energy that springs up stopping them mostly as they bounce off of it. Your momentum crashes you right through the energy wall and you speed down into Lord Voldrus again. He claws at you with great speed but Tanique is able to batter aside his hands as she forces him down with her legs the two hurtling to the ground.

Lady Tanique however is able to hover at the last moment while he slams into the ground cracking the stone where he strikes it.

It is something that would have simply made a goey stain of lesser beings but he was a Lord of Chaos. Even so he seemed temporarily stunned and his body coping with the impact. Any hint of keeping the Logrus in his mind was gone.

Tanique landed by the Chaosian, pulling a silver dagger as she landed.  She leapt forward, the dagger turning into a two handed silver hammer, which she tried to bring down on the man's chest

There is a crunching sound as she strikes and it felt easier than it should have. Blood comes up from the mans mouth. She is quick witted enough to surmise it might have been easier since his bones were probably hallowing to lighten as his skin grew flaps in an attempt to grow wings and fly.

His movements still after the hammer blow.

Tanique sends lightning up to mark her position, and tried to summon help

That people even up at the top of the Castle will see.

"I will send some guard your way, I notified your mother." Comes Bastions voice again.

Some people though look to see where the errant bolt came from especially the put off Lord who was in the middle of his display.

Tanique guards the body, working to get her breath back

"Are you trying for my position ?" She looks at her daughter as she floats down and lands with a rush of wind.

"Look at you, your bleeding. Land."  She looks at the man and starts placing some shackles on him even though they don't seem to fit his form well.

She says, "Tell me husband, he is up there with you isn't he."


Bastion's voice "Yes, I see him."

Tanique set down, nodding  to her mother, and staying close to guard her prize.

Walks over and talks with Julian.

Having seen where the bolt had hit, Liya gasped in shock and moved to Tanique as Bastion went to Julian.

Liya reworks one of the spells on the ring and Blips down next to Tanique.

When she does She finds a taloned spear inches from her face held by Ellika. There is a few moments of breathlessness on her part before she lowers the spear.

"You should have warned me she was coming."

There is silence for a moment then.

"Oh that is where she went. I am coming down same way with your husband since we can't fly. Well not normally." Comes Bastions voice.

Tanique smiled at her mother's protectiveness, and nodded to her friend.

"Welcome to our merry gathering, Liya.  Always good to see you"
She grinned wryly at the Hydra princess

Liya held her hands up, My apologies Lady Ellika. I just wanted to offer any assistance I can.”

She returned the smile to Tanique and shook her head. “You really know how to make an exciting time even more exciting.”

Tanique grinned
"It's a gift"

Liya chuckled. “I don’t doubt that. Listen, I named to talk to you now before it’s too late.”

She grew more serious and lowered her voice to almost a whisper. “I wasn’t expecting to see you here tonight, and I’m really glad to see you, but there’s a small possible problem.  You and Julian are the only people here that know who I am. Bastion can’t know who I really am.”

Tanique blinked I'm surprise, and frowned sheepishly
"My apologies, my friend, but i wished you'd told me that earlier.  Whilst I was dancing with Bastion I might have mentioned that we were cousins and knew each other as children.   I was presuming he was a trusted ally, so while I didn't tell him state secrets, I didn't exactly hold my tongue,  either"

Her eyes widened. “You told him we were cousins? It’s complicated, and I do trust Bastion, but he doesn’t know anything else and neither does Queen Violet.”

Liya frowned and whispered even quieter “Random has me undercover in the Hydra Empire. I’ve grown really fond of Violet and Bastion, I feel bad for lying to them.”

Tanique winced and nodded
"No, I understand.   Kingdom comes first.   Honestly, I'm not sure what I'd be able to do if Her Majesty wanted me to spy on Amber. My apologies if i spoke in a way that has endangered your secrets."

“No need to apologize, you didn’t know. I’ll just have to wait and see what happens from here.  Maybe I can spin something out of thin air, she smiled.

Tanique nodded ruefully
"Honestly, after the fight and that glorious healing,  i was a little bit giddy,  I'll admit.   I wasn't really paying attention to my words, just my feet"

There is a wavering in the air and Julian appeared.

He quickly took everything in assessing the situation. Then strode over kicking the Chaos Lord in the side. He took off his cloak and laid it over Tanique.

"His Majesty gave me this, said you would know what to do with it." He handed her a canister that looked the same as the one she had seen Bastion use on her fingers before.

Julian then started looking around the area before he returned to Ellika's side.

She stepped to the side as Julian came over to Tanique with the canister, and gave him a small nod. She looked around for Bastion.
