I abide. I've been a wee bit on the not feeling so well side lately.

So... I am not by training an anesthesiologist but as a trauma surgeon I've done my share of nerve blocks when general wasn't indicated or was contraindicated. I've never bolloxed up a nerve block and certainly so badly that I needed to induce coma (!!). What the hell did they do?

I think the nerve in the leg was damaged.  I was in anesthesia but also showing extreme pain?  I met with surgeon for the 1w post-op Thursday & then with hospital legal assistance office, but Im less inclined to sue given that waking up in wild torment seems less fun than them 'waiting the problem out'.  And since Im not dying of pain now (it's still pretty painful, but Im down to two oxycodone a day, from eight) and im clearly getting better, then just thank stars that it's passed? I don't remember the medical phrase they used, but could get, along with the BEAR procedure photos of my ACL reconstruction, if someone really wants.

I would really be interested in taking a look at the notes from the surgeon and anesthesiologist to see what they say happened.

For the main thread, should I skip ahead or should we go round-by-round?  If round-by-round, let's make some rolls!  I realize that I might not have been as clear as possible that y'all were up.

Yep, got it. Kenth & Arry are in on the boards, so we'll give them some time, and hopefully we can all get to vaguely consistent-ish posting.  I'm not pointing fingers, it's me who set the tone.  I'm trying to be better.

Don't be too disheartened.  Not the best results but not the worse.  We just gotta get our posting back to something more regular.

Should I try to get more pilots?  If some are for instance once-a-week posters, maybe combine them? And if you're faster, then maybe combine with like?  I could reach back to prior players and/or recruit new ones?

I will move the game along no later than Friday.

My semester's wrapping up today but I'll have a post up on Wednesday, and I think recruiting another pilot or two could be nice
