The ship was a hive of activity; men and droids every which way.  Slowly but surely, men, stores and gear got placed; loaders and other DSDP personnel returned to the station.  At 0529 the lamps went Amber; and a bosun's whistle sounded; the PA system gave the command "Bridge crew to stations, bridge crew to stations"

By 0550, all non-Myrmidon personnel were off; and precisely on schedule, the docking magnets released, and you could feel the ship move to thrusters...you were away!

0610, there is a teltalle 'pulse' and you know you're in lightspeed.

Again, the bosun's whistle, and the Captain gets on.  "Crew of the Myrimdon!  I am Captain Kuna Graven, and together with my XO, Commander Leys Harik, welcome to the 82nd voyage of K-277.  Your individual commanders will have more detailed commands.  But we are here, in the Elrood Sector, augmenting the Derilyn Squadron of Flotilla Keem to once and for all suppress the nacent rebel contingent that has come to this sector!  While we are ostensibly here for piracy reduction and smuggler prevention, that is cover to we have to provide for our true mission.  Together with" and here you notice the disdain for your rival ship "the Magnificant we will act independently, together, and with specific assets directly from Imperial Command that provide for our location and destruction of this rebel group.  They will plague the peace and order of this Sector no longer.  We have a fast ship, and I  Intend  To  Go  In  Harm's  Way! Captain Out!"

Zinda had been putting her gear away and fussing over the new quarters. When she felt the ship move to thrusters-she thought that was it was anyways, she'd never been on a real warship before, only transports-she sprang to her feet. "Oh, let's go see! Come on!" she cried out to the other girls in their quarters, but she didn't wait for a response. She dashed outside, looking for anywhere she could see into space and watch the Myrmidon leave the station and go into hyperspace. It would be her first time watching her warship go in to hyperspace, and she didn't want to miss it for anything.
