Myrmidon, Merisee System 2-9-18 1339hrs

After spending a few dull days in routine flights, and way too much sitting around in the Torina System, course was laid for Merisee; at 1200, Flight III took over in relief.

With three starports, two close to the Capital city near equator, and one near the 'southern' polar cap, there's a lot of ground to cover.  Still, protocol so far has been to standby...

No matter where you are on the vessel (including sleeping) the ships lights go amber *All Ship Alert*

For the pilots on station in the hangar, though, the status is from the Duty Officer, and comes through the intercom.  "Pilots on Station, this the Bridge.  Your are Directed to Launch; Launch Directly." The two mechanics in the hangar quickly run for the airlock...

OCC:  Zam, Shadea, this is you.  launch away.  I'll get you the situation once you're in space.

IF you're not asleep -your discretion- then where are you and what do you do? (Your post will let me know that you're ready to be called into the impending battle.  No post means you're asleep.

Zinda was still smarting from one of the more experienced officers asking her to "fetch his lightsaber" and the embarrassing amount of time it took her to realize of course he wouldn't have one. On the bright side, she was really looking forward to the possibility of landing no Merisee in some capacity, which would bring the number of planets she'd ever set foot on to three. When the alarm sounded, she jumped briefly, startled, before looking for the other pilots. "Hey, Kenth, Arry, Yahn!" she called out. "You think they'll let us fly too?" she added cheerfully, apparently thinking of the whole thing as a chance to fly rather than a possible danger.
