Sorry, I've been battling depression recently over here. I'll see about continuing this on in a few days, if anyone is in fact interested.

 Guys, just when I was starting to get over the depression low, something happened to give mea reason to be sad besides a clinical thing.

 I hate to break this news like this, but My Mother died this morning. I may need a bit to work through not only the emotions but the logistics of everything.

So, were we really going to do something other than beat that guy up and take him to town? Like I didn't expect we would get a reward for telling the job poster "Ya there is a hedge wizard using those to extort people on the road, we just left him there, you asked for why, it costs extra to stop it."

I mean we only contracted to find out what was going on, so yeah, the poster would pay us for finding out.  If they wanted us to remove the scarecrow or the person who put them there, they should put that in the contract.  I don't want to do extra work for free. But it doesn't matter at this point.

Well we can always let him go and heal him up if they don't want to pay for him.

Well someone is paying for him now.  Brewzilla doesn't beat people up pro bono.

As Maury said IC. The easiest solution is to share the loot and then each give Clem 10% of our share.  We get 90% each, he gets 50% and everybody's happy?

That is an active loss. They are going to arrest him if we take him to town and call it a reasonable completion of the job. If we leave him here or take him with us and keep him hidden at least then there is the follow up job of "Why didn't you just deal with this nuisance for us while you were out there? Worst adventurers ever but I guess you are here so ya, now there is an open bounty on this guy, go arrest him."

Well it's an active loss for some but an opportunity for others. If they arrest him, he'll need a bull**** artist lawyer, so I could offer my services. ;)

Problem with that is that he doesn't have money to pay you. Or at least he won't after the rest of us rob his house while he is awaiting a bail hearing.

We're talking a lot of conjecture here, and I don't think it's helping move the in game action.  Let's focus on what our characters are doing in the moment. The characters may need to have this conversation, but it will at least move things along.

For my part, Brewzilla is there to investigate the scarecrows. That's all she signed on for, but if a fight breaks out, she's ready. She thinks Clem could be a potential ally, so she's not being agressive.  She wasn't expecting Leto to attack.

Ya, I figured the frantic crazy dude was going to sick his creations on us anyway. The narration made it seem like a stand off that wasn't going to break on its own.
