Build Specifics

For this game, all PCs will begin at the 5th character level. We will be using the Background Skills Rules. Multiclass is allowed. Stat generation is 4d6, reroll 1's and 2's, and drop the lowest. Either average HP or roll HP onsite at each level. You will have 12,000 GP for personal items. Anything vanilla and most 3rd party are allowed, but everything is subject to GM veto if it is game-breaking.

This is a feature of the Goblins comic by Tarrol Hunt, and is one of my favorite ways to add flavor to the characters in Pathfinder and other games. Essentially I.M.E., or Individual Magical Effect, is how magic expresses itself when coming from you, either as an effect you directly generate, or from items or equipment you use. It usually starts as a color, but grows and changes as you do. While not mandatory, I will be using it, and I would love to see what each of your I.M.E.s are!

If you do decide to use this, be sure to include it on your character sheet, and try to reference it when you cast a spell, or are the cause of some magical effect from your equipment.
