The second chemical horror was neutralized by contact with the first!

"Okay, great!" said Colt.  "I think the next one's mostly saline, so it shouldn't be so bad.  Ready?"

"Yes," Luna said.

"Let's do it!" said Colt, charging in faster than a normal human should be able to at all...

Luna blasted the thing.

Her blast struck it solidly!  Flare followed up with a series of blasts that seemed particularly effective when she struck the area Luna had struck, and Colt took advantage of the staggered state to jump up and hit it right in the face, which made the whole thing collapse!

"Hey, that was great, you two!" he called.  "Can we do that on the last one, too?  Coordinate!"

"Ah, sure," Luna said as she blasted the next one.

Flare followed up; it appeared to be working well, but there was something odder about this one-- it was bubbling, more and more intensely.

"Is it going to explode?" Luna asked.

"...I'm not sure," Colt admitted.  "This one looks weird.  Maybe we should--"

The bubbling was increasing rapidly.

"Everyone, get close," Luna said as she began to weave darkness around everyone.

(OOC: Another hero point to allow me to use the create power to shield everyone.)

They gathered close-- and the chemical monstrosity erupted into a vast cloud of soap bubbles!  None had landed on them, but getting soaked seemed inevitable.

"That was kind of strange," Luna said.

"Most unusual, but fortunate we were not hurt," said Flare.  "I'm joyful at our triumph!  How long will you keep the field of darkness in place?"

Luna dropped the field.

...and soap suds fell all over them, drenching the team.

"Bleh," Luna said.

Flare laughed.

"Bubbles are fun, though!" she said.  "Come, Luna!  We should bathe together to remove them!"

Luna blushed, it showing really well on her pale skin.

"B-but there's a man here..."

Flare tilted her head in confusion.

"I meant back at our headquarters," she said.  "There aren't facilities for bathing here!"

"Oh, silly me," Luna said.

"And we can all have a bath together there!" Flare declared, cheerfully.  Colt blushed.

Luna did as well, shifting awkwardly in place.

"Come, good friends!  Let's all bond together!" said Flare.  She appeared to be trying to fly off with both Luna and Colt.

Luna didn't struggle, she was still in shock.
