The setting is homebrew, but is largely similar to Forgotten Realms lore. The genre is high fantasy, low technology. In other words, you may encounter a spellcasting dragon, but not a Star Destroyer.

Furthermore, if your character requires a hometown or smaller kingdom to make sense, feel free to write that into your backstory. I'll try my best to fit that into the world!
