Hello everyone.

I will be playing Antir d'Lyrandar, who is definitely a noble born Wizard. He has a grimoire of spells and everything. Absolutely nothing else he could be but a Wizard.

*Whistles*

Legitimately though, no connection to the Dragonmarked House d'Lyrandar, despite being a Half-Elf, I just forgot to change the surname when I applied.

Hello Ix, good to see you again, hope you’re well. Kirce sends her regards from the West Marches.

Ahhh, another Paladin! Karl is on a slightly modified Oath of Devotion himself; though of course he's completely good and pure, a proper servant of his god and with the best intentions that everyone would think of such an individual..

A good deal of wizards, necromancers and others of a magical bent it seems. Glad I chose Mystra as Karl's god!

Oh Karl..

Did you not see the name of the game?

Mystra may not be pleased with what your about to become.  Maybe you should look more into the Darker side of magic.. Shar

Re: OOC

Ahhh, but Mystra is a Neutral goddess. Whether its used for good or evil, she doesn't care, as long as the magic is ultimately benefited and grown. And while Shar is - or was - an option, she's a bit more... sinister. Mystra, though neutral, is typically viewed favorably by many. So much easier to take advantage of the masses when they view you as their savior. ;)

Re: OOC

In reply to Chalintra (msg # 24):

I mean technically you could play a neutral character in an evil game just fine as long as they don't mind.

Signe straddles the line between Chaotic and Lawful Evil, but ends up Chaotic because she makes the rules as well as follows them. (subject to change at her whim)

A lot to catch up (curse of timezones). Welcome everyone!

We are a very nice set of villains indeed. Love the timewalker idea. And curios to see how Ackbal and Jarinal interact, as I put Civilization vs Nature among themes I want to explore.

A lot (or more than I expected) of paladins here, and no fallen ones, curios. I played a Oath of Redemption reworked as Temptation some time back, if anyone needs ideas.

To make the wondering more hypocritical, Jarinal is Way to of Mercy monk. The final kind for the lot that destroyed her forest. And anyone else that gets in her way.

As for organization from what I understood it will be a mix of solo and smaller groups based on location and goals. And assuming we can split up/come together as it makes sense.

Yes, the way we play is mostly dependent on the player. I say mostly, because I will take a look at which characters I think would play well together, and try to drop them in the same area if it makes sense. I highly encourage you to play with your fellow villains, but if you really don't want to, I have no issues running a solo thread for as long as that makes sense.

For as long as it makes sense, because there are going to be moments when your characters will cross paths with one another. At that point, I'll drop you both into the same thread for ease of play; but there is no requirement for you to RP with one another if you don't want to. Again, highly encouraged, but not enforced.

Have you come up with a time line?

Is the world same a FR with the death of Mystra and then coming back from the dead?

In reply to Chalintra (msg # 36):

Let me know if I misinterpreted your question, but;

Mystryl and Mystra are two separate entities but fill functionally the same role, with Mystra having taken the mantle of the former. Mystryl is considered to be dead.

What do you mean by a timeline? It is hard to keep the timeline the same for everyone in a PbP format, if that's what you mean. If you're asking about a timeline for your character specifically, PM me. If you're asking me about a timeline for important events in the history of the world, I'll see if I can dig that up.

Timeline as to when Mystra returned from the dead.

Mystryl died then Mystra came but Mystra died and the Spellplague was created.  But Mystra came back with the help of her Chosen Ones.
