"...Okay, here we are," said Alana.  "This might be a little bit tricky... Uh, Artz, maybe you should stay back."

"But it's my truck!" Artz protested.

"Juuust trust me," said Alana.  "Anna, Krovna, might need your help."

Anna took Artz's hand and gave it a quick kiss.

"For good luck," she said before following Alana.

They went in.

"Hey, we need that truck back," said Alana to the ridiculously seedy-looking people in the garage.

"...Yeah, we're not done yet," said one man.  "Not happening."

"Aw, do a girl a favor?" said Alana.  "It's pretty urgent right now.  Got a special client this time..."

She signaled for Anna to help her sell it.

Do something, make a roll!

"Please, sir, we really need that truck," Anna said, holding her hands up begging. "What would it take to let us use it?"

(OOC: Insight and Willpower roll - Anna Patri rolled 2,6 using d10,d8. Spending an FU point invoking theme to turn the two to a five. 11 Total.)

The man started to grin and say something, but Alana cut him off.

"Truck first," she said.  "We can't take a chance on you changing your mind later."

She argued for a few moments, but soon they were shown the truck.

"Okay, now we check it out," said Alana.  "Anna, go inside and check the interior..."

Anna got in like she was told.

There was some fussing outside-- and then Alana jumped in to the driver's seat, locked the doors, and drove the truck out right THROUGH the garage door, laughing!

"Okay, let's get the Buff Duo!" she said.

"Quick, hop in!" Anna shouted to the others.

They did, and Anna drove off, laughing.  Behind them, some seedy mechanics were yelling and waving their fits, but soon they were out of sight.

Time to level up!

(OOC: Taking a level in Dancer and putting a point in dance, taking Golem Dance)

"That worked out well," Anna said. "Now then: what exactly did you mean by 'girls like you'?"

"That was a lot of words ago," said Alana.  "....pretty sure I meant hot girls, especially hot girls who aren't wearing a lot of clothes."

"Alright," Anna said, looking over the truck.

It might have once been a farm vehicle, but it had been made up into something much slicker and flashier.

"This is a pretty impressive vehicle," Anna said.

"...It don't look the same," said Artz.  "What the heck did those guys do?"

"Uh, I think they had some shady plans for it," said Alana.  "Good thing we left, huh?"

"Yes, what a lucky coincidence," Anna said.

"...and in any case, we all need to get out of town now," said Alana.  "So let's get moving."

"Yes, let's go," Anna said.
