The eyed the group curiously as they passed, but didn't stop them.

Inside the guild had a familiar layout with the first floor mostly being an open space with a tavern-like area to one side, and a series of manned desks where missions are handed out or reported in and goods sold.

Mao headed there.

A young elf woman was sitting at the desk while a pair of men seemed to be arguing with her over the price of some goods, eventually the men took the offered coin and left scowling.

She looked up as Mao and the party approached "Good afternoon, how can I help you?" she asked.

"We found some treasure we'd like to sell," Mao said.

"Oh, well then why don't you show me?" The elf asked a small smile on her face "Also where did you find them?"

Mao put down her bag and opened it up.

"Oh, just a place around here we found..."

The elf looked up with a suspicious look but then turned to the times, she began to examine them and then looked shocked "These crystals are..." she said and looked up at Mao "These are incredible."

"Yep, we hit the motherlode," Mao said with a grin.

The elf nodded but then sighed "I'm not sure we can buy all of them from you right now," she said apologetically "We only keep so much gold on hand we can buy maybe two? At a thousand each."

"Sure, that sounds good," Mao said.

"Very well," The Elf said and she took two of the crystals and collected a sackful of coins and passed it to Mao. "If I was you, I'd find somewheresafe to keep those," she indicated the bag with the remaining crystals in "Things like that will attract attention>"

"Do you have a vault or safe here?" Mao asked.

"We do have a vault," the elf said nodding "There will be a small fee, but there are few places more secure in the city."

"Right, we'd like to use it then," Mao said. "How much is it?"

The elf nods and explains "It will be a 100 gold deposit, and then 25 gold per month. For that you will get a strong box within the vault. I belive one box will be enough for your items."

Mao nodded.

"That works."

"Very well, then we will also arrange for that please wait a moment," the elf said and talked to another member of staff who soon came back with a pair of keys "If you'll follow me, we'll get those items deposited."

Mao followed.

The party was led out the back and down a flight of stairs to a room that had runes carved into the walls and solid iron door, the door was opened and the elf gestured inside "This is the vault" she explained as she led them into the room. Inside the room was full of several long shelves filled with iron boxes.

The elf led them to one and took a key out and opened it, "This will be yours," she said and passed the key to Mao.

Mao took it and put the bags in there.

"Thank you."

Once the bags were put in the box, the elf closed the lid and then showed Mao how to lock it.

"Now then, we should get a good meal," Mao said.

THe party where shown back to the entrance of the guildhouse. Ruivk nods enthusiastically "Sounds like a plan, be nice to eat some good food." he scratches his head "What kind of food are you thinking of?"

"i feel like noodles. What does everyone else want?" Mao asked.

Xiao nods excitedly "Noodles sounds good," she said hopefully. Heather looks intrigued "What are noodles?" she asked.
