Experience Point Tracker (OOC)
You can earn experience points for many different activities as long as they are in the furtherance of the success of a goal, adventure or event. It is an extremely complicated business tracking everyone's qualifying activities, therefore I'm asking each player to reply in this thread once and edit that post as qualifying events occur. Here is the list of qualifying events, your own post should break things out with at least this much detail:
1. Hit Points: one experience point for each point of damage received
2. Critical Points:
A. XP for each critical inflicted on an enemy, record as “X (enemy)” where X is the critical type inflicted and enemy is on whom.
B. XP for each critical you take, record by type
3. Kill points: There is a bonus XP amount for killing foes based on the level disparity. I will modify the rules to divide the kill points among those involved actively in the combat, using the average party level.
4. Maneuver Points: make note of any Moving or Static maneuver (MM or SM) where the die roll exceeded 100. To receive XP for it the maneuver needs to have been successfully accomplished and “unique or inspired.”
5. Spell Points: XP is awarded for successfully casting a spell in a combat situation. The spell must have had a purpose in aiding the group in the combat.
6. Idea Points: “given for ideas and plans that lead to the accomplishment of a goal or a successful event, action or adventure.”
7. Travel Points: awarded for each mile of a journey in unfamiliar areas, modified based on whether it is civilized, dangerous or extremely dangerous.
8. Miscellaneous Points awarded for activities with strategic significance, when and how much up to the GM. Record any suggestion you might have here (including if you think another PC deserves such an award.)
